I think that it needs to be water-based lube only with e-stim because silicone is a natural resistor to electricity- so the e-stim won’t work with silicone lube. Or you won’t feel it, maybe? Anyway, that’s what I’ve been told, that silicone or hybrid lube will interfere with the e-stim. I just got an Electric Eric and Mystim does say to use a standard water-based lube or “electro-conductive gel” which is just water based lube with additional ingredients in it to help conduct electricity better. Mystim’s brand “the Goldfather” has 23k gold flakes in it, which seems a bit gimmicky, but I’m not sure about the other ingredients. My Eric came with a Goldfather sample pack that lists Propylene Glycol and Sorbitol among some other ingredients which I’m a bit leery of. It doesn’t list any parabens or glycerin, but I’m pretty sure Sorbitol is a type of sugar..? I will stick to Sliquid Sassy as always, with my new Electric Eric. But definitely, no silicone lube with e-stim toys.

Huhh, that’s really interesting. Wikipedia’s sources say that redheads have different experiences of pain, depending on the type:

“One study found that people with red hair are more sensitive to thermal pain (associated with naturally occurring low vitamin K levels), while another study concluded that redheads are less sensitive to pain from multiple modalities, including noxious stimuli such as electrically induced pain.”

But yeah, I know for sure that with a Neon Wand, my bigger-bodied counterparts can feel it like cray, whereas I’m just kind of chilling there on the same setting because I hardly feel anything.

I’m about 40 pounds overweight. But you know, I’ve read about how redheads are more sensitive to pain so I wonder if that has something to do with feeling the e-stim more at lower levels.

Curious: what would you say is your body type? For me, I generally can’t feel the e-stim before the 3rd or 5th intensity level, but I have heard that very thin people are less conductive.

I’ve written a review about the Simon! It’s pretty rad for G-spotting but for thrusting, the ridges can be overwhelming if you’re not hardcore into texture.

Still so curious about these. I think I would personally go for the Simon over the Truman, but the Truman’s endearing itself to me a bit. I wish they produced them in some of those other mouthwatering colours aside from black, too, but. I get the decision I suppose.
But for me that would really set them apart from other silicone covered e-stim products.

Shame about the seam, though!
