dizzyguy says you can use it that way. Also they make a mount for doggy:

I never would had thought that a toy like this could be used to help build up stamina. Could you place it on an object raised off the ground and use it to stimulate doggy style?

This sounds like a great thing to mount and ride, I am still on the search for something to ride while using my toys when camming to make it easier.
