Liberator Fleshlight Mount

Having just reviewed the Tenga Flip 0 the one thing that I thought was missing while using a stroker was the ability to have it secured so that the hands were totally removed from the equation. I’ve owned the Fleshlight STU for a few years but as good as it is, it’s still technically masturbation. All the different ways of trying to secure the Fleshlight with pillows never seemed to be able to handle full on thrusting. Liberator to the rescue!

I’ve had previous experience with Liberator products like the Wedge (our favorite), Ramp, and Flip Ramp. Dizzygirl and I were extremely satisfied with their products so, expectations where high for the Fleshlight on a Mission by Liberator.

If you’re someone who is concerned about the environment Liberator has an eco-compressed packaging system that cuts down on their carbon foot print. Check it out if you’re interested. I think it’s cool.

Set up is simple! Remove from box, slide on the faux leather cover, zip and you’re ready to roll. You’ll definitely need to have a devoted storage space because it is not small (27”L x 9”W x 10”H).

Inserting the Fleshlight into the mount requires a bit of pressure so, I would recommend holding off on any lube handling until it’s in place. Once inserted, everything is held tight so no worries about anything moving or slipping.

It’s set up for missionary but that is by no means the only position that can be used. Together with other Liberator products or, some creative pillow architecture and some imagination, you can hit all those positions that you’ve seen in porn and wanted to try. The mount holds my weight with no problem so, whether I’m thrusting hard or slow, there’s no sliding thanks to the microfiber bottom.

The Fleshlight sits at an angle in the mount and that takes a little bit of adjustment to become comfortable with, based on your body type. I’ve run this product through the paces and the only complaint I have is where the label is placed. In some positions, it will rub your inner thigh.

Removal of the Fleshlight requires just a turn and pull but be careful because there can be some leakage of lube and jizz from the bottom of your Fleshlight. Clean-up couldn’t be easier – just a cloth or antibacterial wipe and you’re ready for next time.

I’ve found that the Fleshlight on a Mission mount isn’t just a holder for your Fleshlight to get off with but a piece of training equipment. Just like a boxer needs a punching bag to practice throwing punches, the Fleshlight on a Mission mount is a great piece to practice your technique and increase your sexual stamina. This is not masturbation. This is straight up FUCKING!!!

If you’re looking to break the monotony of jerking off and turn yourself into a sex machine (And really, who isn’t?) you can’t go wrong with this product. The Fleshlight on a Mission by Liberator plus a Fleshlight stoker (sold separately) is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this product. So, do yourself and your partner a favor and check it out.

PeepShow Toys doesn’t sell Fleshlight strokers because they are made of porous material and I respect that. I have recently made a decision to allow reviews of porous strokers on my blog because it is incredibly difficult to find silicone stokers and I believe that it might be safer to use porous material for strokers rather than butt plugs, dildos and vibrators. As always, you should not share a porous stroker.

I won’t put a link to Fleshlight in this review because it was sponsored by PeepShow Toys but if you’re interested, you can click on my banner in the left sidebar. Dizzyguy is very satisfied with the STU.

I previously reviewed the Womanizer Pro W500 and despite the awful name and gaudy looks, I did enjoy it. But after a short while, it just sat in a drawer collecting dust. I have many other toys that I prefer to play with. I saw some #TeamAmazeballs folks talking on Twitter and someone mentioned the Womanizer. @AfterrDarkk chimed in that she’d really love to try it but someone had already claimed it.

I thought, well shit… I have one I don’t use and maybe it could really help this gal. See, she has hypertonic Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (which she talks about on my other blog) and it makes all manner of sexual endeavors a challenge for her but she thought that the Womanizer might allow her to have orgasms without the pain. So I said, “what the hell” and sent mine to her. The idea of  having her review it on my blog as part of #TeamAmazeballs was really an afterthought, but I’m glad that she agreed to do it. I think it’s interesting and important to get different perspectives.

12 Rounds With A Womanizer

Soft, sleek and quiet, the Womanizer Pro W500 has been on my wish list since it first came to my attention. It’s advertised as a toy that “makes it possible to stimulate the clitoris without direct contact, thus avoiding over stimulation and hypersensitivity.” My pelvic floor is already overstimulated. It’s hypertonic, meaning there is no voluntary muscle relaxation. Orgasms are a thing of the past for me. It was my belief the Womanizer would be gentle enough, with its mild vibration and pulsating air, to bring me to orgasm. Keep reading to see the score card.

For starters, I have a tiny clitoris. Getting the silicone head to seat properly so the clitoris is inside the head is a challenge because there’s not a whole lot of peeking out going on. I had my hood pierced in 1998 to assist in orgasm. It helped me immeasurably.

It was a battle of epic proportions. The Womanizer was designed to give me an orgasm. I was hoping for plural events. My body is designed to orgasm. I have enjoyed many orgasms in my life. It’s something I really miss. My expectations were high. I trained for masturbation by going through a series of different preparations before use.

How do you prepare to masturbate? Don’t you just do it? Most people do. They feel like masturbating, go have a little fun, get off and clean up. I can’t approach this event with such a whimsical attitude. I really wish I could. I have to relax the pelvic floor beforehand. On a side note the best exercise for the pelvic floor is orgasm. That was my goal. Masturbation is an exercise? Count me in! Preparation can include a multitude of choices or a combination of many. A hot bath, a TENS unit, muscle relaxer, lidocaine gel inserted deep into my vagina near the cervix, or even a Valium glycerin suppository.

Round 1:  First Time Use

What I was expecting and what I received in return was rather odd. I started out on the lowest setting. The noise level is so soft I wasn’t sure it was even powered up. There was a very slight tingly sensation that was enjoyable. When I increased the speed to level 2, I started feeling extremely aroused. I stopped and started several times through this process. Arousal relaxes the pelvic floor as well.  I finally set the level on the third setting. I had an orgasm without a spasm, but I did ejaculate a small amount of fluid. This was a good start.

Round 2: Sudden Urge to Masturbate

I tried this thing called edging. Started at the lowest setting for 4 minutes and worked my way up to the third setting resting in between settings for 2 minutes. I even set a timer. On the third setting I had the same result, as the first go round; a small amount of ejaculate with no spasm. So I amped it up to the 4th setting and had a mini orgasm. A slight and very small twitch. I wasn’t over the top YES! I DID IT! It was more like an orgasm I wasn’t able to ride to the finish. Again there was some ejaculate. However, within 30 minutes I had to use my TENS unit to relax my pelvic floor because my ass hurt.

Round 3, 4 and 5:  Make It Happen

Because of my previous experiences with the fluid leakage, I used a catheter to make sure my bladder was empty. I wasn’t 100% confident it wasn’t urine. I can officially say it wasn’t. I felt the inability to follow through with the orgasm might be due to my fear of wetting myself during masturbation. I also have bladder issues. Additionally, I placed a large folded towel underneath my bottom to absorb any fluid. I was determined it was going to happen. I went three rounds in one session covering about 30 minutes.

faucetSomething happened. I went through all setting levels during this session. I leaked and rested. I squirted and rested. Then I gushed. There’s no other explanation for it. And Omigerd! I didn’t know that much fluid was even possible to release. Much to my disappointment, there was no spasm or twitch. I was going for a full-bodied orgasm where you can feel your pulse inside your vagina throbbing afterward. I didn’t make it this session, but I didn’t have any pain following this stellar experience.

Round 6, 7 and 8:  It Happens

I will admit to being somewhat fearful of going the forced orgasm route simply because of the resulting pain that can follow. But I was willing to take the chance. Going almost 100 days between orgasms is a bitch. Sexual frustration is part of my life. My body is still aroused. I still get wet. I still want to have wild monkey sex. I started out masturbating with the intention of increasing blood flow directly to my clitoris.

I went for broke this time. I took no resting breaks in between sessions. I didn’t relocate the Womanizer. I skipped starting out slow and went straight to the highest setting. Within 10 seconds, I gushed and rode it out. And gushed again. Then I had an epic orgasm. Full bodied in less than 5 minutes.  Tingles and throbs and twitching everywhere. The kind where my eyes rolled back in my head, my body perspired, my respiration and pulse increased. I was too physically drained to shout out my success but it left me with a smile on my face and no pain in my ass.

Round 9, 10 and 11:  Oops I did it again.

I repeated the exact same process to see if I could recreate the same results. I wanted another orgasm but without the gushing. Don’t get me wrong, it feels fantastic but that’s not a normal biological response for my body. I can count on one hand the times it has happened to me in my entire sexually active life. I received the same results. Gushing. Orgasm. Smile. No pain. Goal achieved.

Twelfth and Final Round

I tried several different positions during use as recommended on their website. I cannot use this thing without gushing. It’s not possible. However, the orgasm that follows is next world. There is the occasional pain in the ass that follows, but that’s my fault. During the last round I gave myself 3 orgasms. After the first orgasm, there was no more gushing. The Womanizer knocked me out with a combination of pulsating air and light vibration.

I can’t gush enough about the Womanizer Pro W500.

A couple of years ago, I went on a search for an alternative to the Liberator Throe. Why? Well, I’d heard so many of my readers say that they’d love to have one but the Throe was just too expensive. I admit, it wasn’t too difficult to find what I thought was not only a better bargain but also, a better product.

All I did was Google “sex blanket” and the first link was to Mambe Blankets. I took a look around their site and found their furniture covers. They seemed like just the thing I was looking for so, I bought one. You can read the review for that one here.

Apparently, Mambe had gotten enough traffic from that review that it caught their attention because just recently they contacted me about reviewing one of their new blankets, the Silky Waterproof Throw. I checked out the product page and was thrilled to see that they suggest it can be used for “intimate encounters”.

Mambe Silky Blanket colors

Mambe sent me the 60×60 Silky Waterproof Throw in “Dove/Buff” and the 30×36, just so I could see the other color option. The moment I took it out of the packaging and felt the material, I was in love. It is so incredibly soft and as the name suggests, has a sort of silky feel to the fleece. The furniture cover I bought a couple of years ago is nice but the material is nowhere near as luxurious as this.

The first thing I wanted to do was wash it to see if it came out feeling just as soft as before. The care instructions tell you not to use fabric softener or dryer sheets. I know that they can sometimes leave residue on fabrics and over time, actually make them less soft. The Silky Waterproof Throw came out of the dryer feeling just as fluffy and silky soft as when I first opened the package. The only thing left to do was to test its ability to keep my bed clean and dry during “intimate encounters”.

As you may know if you follow me on Twitter, subscribe to my newsletter or get my blog posts via email, my libido is in the shitter. Don’t know why and that’s not what this review is about anyway. Plus, I’m not a reliable squirter so… I tested the Silky Waterproof Throw with half a cup of water. I’m not sure anyone squirts half a cup but if so, I commend them.

Mambe Silky blanket cup

I poured the half cup of water on the Throw and what happened next was unexpected. The water beaded up and did not soak in. Now, this happened with the furniture cover that I bought but that was before I washed it. After I washed the furniture cover, the liquid soaked in but not through – exactly what you want from a sex blanket.

Mambe Silky Blanket beading 1

Mambe Silky blanket beading 2

I let the liquid sit there for about ten minutes and it just stayed beaded up on the fabric. So, imagine you’ve squirted all over the Throw and you roll off the bed and… there goes ejaculate all over your bed. In fact, this is what happened when I carefully tried to fold up the blanket with the water on it. Some rolled off and got my bed wet. Essentially, my bed stayed dry until I tried to remove the blanket.

I adore how this material feels against my naked skin. It is truly luxurious compared to the furniture cover that I bought before. But it doesn’t really perform like a sex blanket should. And if you used it to protect your chair from dog piss, it would present the same problems. I really wanted to like the Silky Waterproof Throw but it just doesn’t work for me as a sex blanket. I might keep in my car in case I ever break down in a rain storm with no cell signal and I have to walk.

Note: After I told dizzyguy about how the Mambe Silky Waterproof Throw performed, he said he should try using it to protect his car seat when he comes home from the gym all sweaty and nasty (this is a boxing gym set up in a dude’s barn so, no showers). It works perfectly for this purpose.

The Silky Waterproof Throw didn’t perform how I wished it would BUT I still highly recommend Mambe’s Furniture Covers.  I have the 60×60 Furniture Cover and right now it’s only $69 AND you can save 10% with code TMG2016

Womanizer Pro W500

Yes, I’m going to start this review off with a rant. Can we rename this thing for fuck’s sake? Who the hell thought “Womanizer” was a good name for sex toy? That word generally has negative connotations pretty much everywhere. Every time I hear the name in my head I think of this guy1 and that’s not conducive to my masturbatory success.

I thought maybe since the company is German, they had lost something in translation. And I’m not even close to being the only blogger who HATES the name of this thing. In fact, it nearly turned me off from even trying to get one for review. But then other reviews started coming in and I was intrigued. Some said they loved it and some hated it. I had to try it. I had to know what the big deal was about the suction plus vibration (at least I thought that’s what this thing was going to do).

I lied – I have one other little rant to get out of the way. Who the hell styled this thing? It looks like a bedazzled Barbie ear thermometer. Seriously, the rhinestones and cheesy prints were totally unnecessary. I also received the one that I find most unattractive – the leopard print. Rawr. It reminds me of being at the skating rink when I was a kid, wearing that off-the-shoulder animal print shirt with jelly shoes and jelly bracelets up to my elbow and neon everything… rocking out to some Cyndi Lauper2.

OK, I do have to give credit where it’s due. I have the second generation Womanizer Pro W500 and its styling is a slight bit better than the original model. Still, animal print and rhinestone power buttons just didn’t need to happen.

But I care more about how it feels than how it looks so, I had to get my hands on one anyway. And if it weren’t for the generous folks who make the Womanizer Pro, I probably wouldn’t have gotten one. So, I have to give them a big thank you and I apologize for the rants… sort of.

Alright, awful name and tacky 1980s aesthetic aside, how does this thing feel?

At first, it didn’t feel right – at all. I couldn’t figure it out. I stopped to regroup, added more lube and tried again. This time, I found sort of technique where I wiggle it ever so slightly. Level four seemed to work the best for me. The higher intensity levels are too strong and made me feel numb, which I thought it wasn’t supposed to do. Eventually, it produced a fairly powerful orgasm that felt like if I kept going I’d squirt but I didn’t want to so I stopped. I waited a moment and then for shits and giggles, tried it again and achieved another orgasm much easier than the first and it felt just as intense.

I’m at a loss to describe exactly what this thing feels like. I am also at a total loss to explain exactly why I like it. There is a gentle suction plus vibration thing happening. Although, it’s not precisely a sucking action either. It’s perplexing. It’s like puffing air or something. The company says it’s an “air touch/pulse air/wind kiss/touch less/pressure wave intimate stimulator”. Many reviewers far more articulate that I am have struggled to describe the sensation. This is definitely nothing like a clit pump, if that’s what you were imagining. While the higher settings were too strong for me, the levels that do work for me are more subtle than I thought I would ordinarily need yet, somehow it works. It’s like magic.

It feels vaguely like when dizzyguy gives me oral and he sucks gently on my clit, except the Womanizer Pro is more rhythmic, remains consistent and doesn’t get tired. Anorgasmia makes it nearly impossible for me to orgasm from oral sex so, it’s definitely not a lack of technique on dizzyguy’s part. I just need a machine that can do things humans can’t. And apparently the Womanizer Pro is one such machine.

You do kind of create a seal with the tip of it on your clit. Just holding it stationary and letting it do its bewildering brand of stimulation wasn’t working really well for me so I added a slight wiggling motion and THAT did it. If you don’t get the tip positioned just right, there are some pretty hilarious slurping and gurgling sounds that happen. I kind of like the sensation of it even when it’s not sealed, though the noise is distracting.

Womanizer Pro tip removed

The Womanizer Pro is a nightmare to clean. Sure, the silicone tip3 pops off and that’s easy enough to wash with soap and water but the unit itself is not even splash-proof so, I use a cleaning wipe and try to get into all the nooks and crannies.

I wasn’t sure how it could be possible that you can use lube4 with this thing. I thought it would get sucked up into it but when it came time to clean it, I didn’t find lube anywhere other than on the removable tip. This thing just befuddles me. I don’t know how it works and I don’t know why it works. To further confuse me, the tip glows red while in use for absolutely no discernible reason5. It is an enigma.

Womanizer Pro glow

Wondering what the differences are between the original Womanizer W100 and the new Womanizer Pro W500 (other than the price hike)? The Pro W500 has 8 levels of intensity vs. the W100’s 5 levels. It’s supposed to be quieter. The silicone tip is larger to accommodate a larger clitoris. The styling is slightly better. And that’s about it, according to the literature that I have.

The Womanizer Pro is USB rechargeable. The one I received came from Germany and has a European outlet adapter and USB cable. I don’t know if the American packaging will be any different.  If it does not include the appropriate outlet adapter, you can pick one up here.

Womainzer Pro charging port

There is just no way to compare the Womanizer Pro to any other sex toy because nothing out there does what this thing does – whatever the hell it’s doing. I can genuinely say that they managed to create something totally unique and innovative. So few toys that make that claim really deserve it but this one actually does.

I honestly have no idea who I could recommend this toy to because it is so different from everything else out there. I can say that if you like wand massagers and need that kind of broad stimulation then the Womanizer Pro is probably not going to work for you.

Bottom line? I like it but I have no idea why. This thing really shouldn’t work for me but somehow, it does. It succeeds in giving me orgasms and I’m just going to have to accept the fact that I don’t understand how it works.

Gee Whizzard Sesh

This picture is from my first sesh with the Vixen Gee Whizzard. I actually tested quite a few things that night1 because frankly, I’m falling behind on my reviews. But the items that made the magic happen this time?

Magic Wand Rechargeable – check
Vixen Gee Whizzard – check
We-Vibe Touch – check
Good Clean Love Almost Naked Lube – check

When these four items came together something extraordinary happened. My body involuntarily went into full-on squirting orgasm in mere moments – as evidenced by the wet spot in the photo with the red arrow pointing to it, in case you didn’t believe me.

Vixen Gee Whizzard

Holy shit, that’s all I have to say. I mean, damn. I was totally not expecting it when it happened. I had the MWR on the lowest setting and the Touch on my clit on setting two I think (Does it really matter?) and with the leverage I could get from the huge MWR handle, I was able to push the Gee Whizzard deep into me, achieving a bit of my beloved AFE Zone2 (Some call this the a-spot. I do not.) stimulation3. I kinda rocked the MWR/Gee Whizzard conglomeration into me while stroking my clit with the Touch and BAM… the flood gates opened. Well, actually it wasn’t until I pulled the Gee Whizzard out of my vag that I began squirting everywhere. I hadn’t had a squirting orgasm in quite a while so, I was really caught off guard. But make no mistake, I was delighted at the same time (and thankful that I always use my waterproof blanket when masturbating).

Gee Whizzard on MWR and Doxy

I think if you have the MWR, the Magic Wand Original or, Doxy Wand you really need to get yourself the Gee Whizzard, especially if you need industrial strength vibration for your G-spot. The MWR+Gee Whizzard was way too much for me on the highest two settings. I got more than enough stimulation on the lowest setting.

The Gee Whizzard is so comfortable inside me. It just fits – perfectly. It’s flexible and a bit squishy. There is some drag but lube fixes everything and the way I use it, I don’t need a lot because I don’t really thrust with it, I just sort of rock it in place.

On the higher settings, the Gee Whizzard does make the MWR a lot noisier but I’ve noticed most of my wand attachments do that. It might not be as discreet as you need it to be but in my house, it doesn’t matter.

Gee Whizzard nubs

There are some little nubby bumps on the side opposite the dildo. I’m assuming it’s to stimulate a partner that might be grinding on you while you have it inside you? Or maybe you can turn it around and use the nubs on yourself? Not really my thing but they’re there. I’m also just guessing about this because I don’t have the correct anatomy but I suspect the MWR+Gee Whizzard would provide some outstanding prostate stimulation.

The Gee Whizzard is easy to clean with soap and water or you could use a toy cleaner. If you need to sanitize it, which you should do if it’s going in your butt, you can wash it in a 10% bleach solution. I recommend water-based lube4 because pairing silicone-based lube with silicone toys can sometimes result in damage to the toy.

As with most Vixen products, the Gee Whizzard comes in a nice transparent tube for storage. You only have one color choice and that’s Green Marble, which looks really cool because it’s translucent. The dildo measures 5” long and 1.5” in diameter. It’s a nice average size but obviously, might not appeal to girth fanatics. Although, the powerful internal vibration might make you forget all about the lack of girth.

The Vixen Gee Whizzard is a must have accessory for your Magic Wand Rechargeable, Magic Wand Original or Doxy Wand. I don’t really use my MWR much for clitoral stimulation because I need something more pin-point but with the Gee Whizzard, I’ll definitely be getting a lot more use out of it. I have seen similar attachments that cost less but they’re made of PVC and trust me, you don’t want that. This body-safe wand attachment is totally worth the price and extends the functionality of your wand massager in a fabulous way.

Don’t forget, when you shop at PeepShow Toys, you can always save 10% on your order with code: DIZZY.

It looks and sounds kind of scary but in reality, the KinkLab Neon Wand is nothing to fear. Sure, the idea of zapping sensitive areas of the body with electricity arcing from a glass electrode might make some folks a bit nervous. But I am here to tell you that the Neon Wand is actually pretty tame and doesn’t produce stimulation stronger than a mild to moderate pinching/prickly sensation when turned all the way up on high. In fact, those who are into giving and receiving serious pain might be disappointed by it.

The first thing I did was test out all the electrodes on my forearm, slowly adjusting to full power. At no point was it so painful that I felt I had to stop. The sensation varies from feeling nothing at all on low to sort of warm tickling sensation about midway and a sharp prickly feeling turned all the way up. I am very fair-skinned and all of that testing left what looked and felt like a mild sunburn that lasted the entire evening but I think this is because I was repeatedly going over the same area. The manual warns you not to use it on one area for longer than 10 seconds.

Next, I got a little braver and tried the electrodes on my nipples; first through my shirt and then directly to them. I was able to tolerate every electrode on high for brief periods of time. I’m a sissy when it comes to pain so, I think if I can handle the kind of stimulation that the Neon Wand produces then most people can. Although, we are all different and have varying thresholds of pain. Still, with the wide range of settings and selection of electrodes, I think most people can find a combination that suits them.

The next time I brought out the Neon Wand, I jokingly asked dizzyguy where he wanted it. I didn’t expect him to want to try it but I was shocked (Heh, see what I did there?) when he jumped up, pulled down his pants and presented his ass cheeks to me. I tried every electrode on his ass, swirling around each cheek, slowly turning up the intensity. None of the electrodes proved to be too much for him to handle, even with the power turned all the way up. He agreed that the most intense electrode on full power just felt like a static-y, prickly sensation. But what he really liked was afterward. He said it made everything extra sensitive and went a little crazy as I lightly ran my nails all over his backside.

Neon Wand handset

All that was left was to try out the Neon Wand on my most sensitive of areas. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little apprehensive but having tested it out on my arm and nipples, I figured I could handle it with the power turned low. I was kind of surprised that I was able to tolerate all the electrodes turned up on high, on all areas of my vulva, including my clit. Now I do have to say, this is not a sensation that is going to get me off. Actually, what felt the best was running the electrodes over my inner thighs.

There might be people out there who can have orgasms from this kind of stimulation but I’m not one of them. I found the sensation interesting but not necessarily in an overly pleasurable way. I think this sort of thing is really meant for those who are into light BDSM. Dizzyguy and I aren’t exactly kinky but we like experimenting. That’s why I thought it would be fun to try the Neon Wand – and it has been. I haven’t let him have control of it on me yet but that will probably change now that I’ve thoroughly tested it on myself.

I have been told by others that I need to get the Power Tripper attachment for the Neon Wand. It turns your entire body into an electrode and you can stimulate your partner with electricity from your finger tips or, anywhere else. It does sound like fun and I will probably get it eventually.

Four glass electrodes are included and I’ve listed them from least to most intense:

  1. The Mushroom Tube electrode produces the mildest stimulation, spreading the sensation over a broader area.
  2. The Comb Electrode feels a little pricklier than the mushroom tip but is still pretty mild.
  3. The Tongue Tube feels mild on the broad side but gets more intense when using the point.
  4. The 90° Probe produces the most intense, pinching sensation. It’s not more than I can handle but I don’t enjoy keeping it on sensitive areas for very long when the intensity is turned all the way up.

Mushroom Electrode2 Comb Electrode

Click images to see them in larger glorious detail.

I also have some NSFW photos of the Neon Wand in use.  You can see them here and here.

Like a neon sign, the Neon Wand’s glass electrodes have electrified gas that glows within and you have two color choices – red and purple.  You can get the handset in white or red and black. Neon Wand dial

The controls couldn’t be simpler. It’s one dial that you turn clockwise to turn it on and increase intensity and counterclockwise to decrease intensity and turn it off.  The cord is about 7′ long.

The manual states that the electrodes can be cleaned with at least 75% alcohol. The manual doesn’t specify how to clean the handset but I would simply wipe it with a barely damp cloth (unplugged of course) or, if I felt it needed more, maybe an antibacterial wipe. Make sure it is completely dry before using it again.

The Neon Wand should not be used on people who have pacemakers or those who are pregnant. All jewelry should be removed. Keep the Neon Wand well away from water and do not use with wet hands. Turn the device off when changing electrodes.

Neon Wand box2

If you’re feeling a little daring and electro-sex stimulation sounds exciting to you then I think you’ll enjoy the Neon Wand. I’m not sure it’s intense enough to please those who are into playing with more severe pain but it could be used to tease your partner and prepare them for what’s coming next.

There are additional electrodes and accessories1 that can be purchased separately and the prices are very reasonable.  You can also buy replacements for the included electrodes.2 And of course, there’s the Power Tripper attachment that I’m really intrigued by. In all, I think the Neon Wand can add some adventurous fun to your playtime and it will literally makes sparks fly in the bedroom.

Can geometry be sexy? With Liberator bedroom adventure gear, it can be. These sex positioning cushions are so much better than pillows in several ways and they can put a new angle on your amorous activities.

The first thing I bought when I started exploring the world of sex toys was the Liberator Wedge. It continues to be one of the best and most often used sexual accessories I’ve purchased. Dizzyguy and I use it every time we have sex. Every. Single. Time. Why do I love the Wedge so much? Because it introduced me to a whole new kind of stimulation that I’d never felt before. In missionary position with the Wedge under my butt, it lifts me up at just the right height and angle for dizzyguy to penetrate me deeply and hit my AFE Zone1 (I never even knew that this was a thing) and I absolutely fucking love it. It also makes things easier for him because he can kneel in a comfortable position while thrusting. It’s become our favorite way to have sex.

So yeah, I love the Wedge and totally recommend it. But this review isn’t about the Wedge, it’s about the Liberator Flip Ramp. When I bought the Wedge I got it as part of the Wedge/Ramp combo. Truthfully, we don’t use the Ramp that much for many of the same reasons that the Flip Ramp isn’t perfect for us. I absolutely think the Flip Ramp is a great product and it’s very well made, as are all the Liberator products I’ve tried. And I do think that some people will love it. Whether or not it works for you will depend on several factors, most importantly… how the two of you measure up.

For most of the positions we tried using the Flip Ramp, our bits just didn’t line up right. It would either position me too high or low for things to work really well. Success all depends on the height differences between you. I am 5’8” and dizzyguy is 5’11” but it’s not only overall height that matters. The measurement from your knees to your genitals is pretty important and for the standing positions, even the height of your bed will make a difference.

Flip Ramp position

The best position for us is doggy with me bent over the Flip Ramp. This position allows me to just completely relax and concentrate more on the sensations since I’m not holding myself up with my arms. I like it because it’s lazy sex, at least for me. Dizzyguy is pretty much in the same position – kneeling behind me. While it lets me relax, it could also be very helpful for those with disabilities, who may not have the strength to hold certain positions.

Flip Ramp positions

Missionary on the incline didn’t work for us because it lifted me up too high. If dizzyguy was a bit taller, it would probably be perfect. Missionary on the decline wasn’t good for deep penetration and I get cranky without it. Maybe you live in fear of bruising your cervix and deep penetration isn’t your thing. In that case, you might enjoy this position. It can also be useful during oral sex; raising the genitals up and generally making everything more accessible, which can take some strain off of the giver.

So, you’re probably thinking: These sex cushions aren’t exactly cheap and how are they any better than just using pillows? It’s all about the angles. Regular pillows are just not going to create the same angles as the Liberator sex positioning cushions. They’re also a lot firmer than pillows and are made for things to get messy with their washable outer covers and water-resistant inner liners. Quite simply, the Flip Ramp is built for sex – pillows, not so much.

Flip Ramp measurements

The Flip Ramp is just a few inches longer than the Ramp and it has a bit of contouring that doesn’t seem to make a big difference. I would recommend the Flip Ramp over the Ramp simply because it folds and takes up less space. The microfiber cover is soft and comfortable and it doesn’t get too hot. It does pick up quite a bit of cat hair and lint but it can be machine washed and I hang mine to dry.

Flip Ramp folded

You might be surprised when your package arrives and think there’s no way they could fit those big cushions into that box. But Liberator does something kind of cool to cut down on the size of the packaging. They vacuum pack the Flip Ramp cushions into compression bags and when you take them out and rip open the plastic, they magically grow to their perfect shape and size. I love unpacking Liberator cushions and I wish I would have remembered to record the unpacking of my Flip Ramp so I could share it with you but… I didn’t because I suck. Seriously though, you’ll get a kick out of how they seem to come to life.

The outer shipping container that your Flip Ramp arrives in will be discreet but the product packaging itself is not. It actually says “Bedroom Adventure Gear” in big letters on the sides of the box. So, just keep that in mind when you’re unpacking it and discarding the packaging.

It’s true, I don’t love the Flip Ramp like I love my Wedge but it might be just perfect for some of you. Unfortunately, I have no way of telling you if your measurements will be compatible for all the positions but I am pretty confident that most folks will find fun ways to use it. If you’re using pillows, just stop it now and get one of these cushions. I think you’ll find that they work a lot better and you might even find erogenous zones that you didn’t even know you had.

Bubble Love

Want a new way to have orgasms? Well, maybe not so new if you’re like me and have experimented with the bubble jets in a jacuzzi tub. Oh come on, don’t act like you haven’t at least thought about it. It can be a feat of flexibility sometimes but when you get that jet of bubbles aimed at your clit, wonderful things can happen. But damned if it isn’t uncomfortable contorting yourself that way and if someone walked in on you, well… you’d probably never live it down. So what’s a girl to do? Enter, Bubble Love – your personal pleasure jet.  It’s like a jacuzzi1 for your clit.

If you spend a lot of time taking long hot baths then you might enjoy the Bubble Love. It has the power of a jacuzzi jet right in your hand so, you can aim it at just the right spot. Just be careful how you aim it so, you don’t spray yourself in the face (or spray water all around the bathroom). Not that I did that or anything. I’ve been told it can spray 18 feet.

As you can imagine, this feels nothing like a vibrator and I think it’s more gentle than a powerful vibrator. If you need Herculean levels of stimulation to get off then Bubble Love may not work for you. But I am able to have orgasms with it and it’s really hard for me to have them sometimes. If you know you’re a power queen then I’m not sure Bubble Love will do it for you. Then again, since the sensation feels totally different from using a vibrator, you might not need the same kind of power.

So, how is this thing any better than a shower massager?   To me, this doesn’t feel anything like the jet spray on my shower massager, which does nothing for me, as far as orgasms go.  The bubbles in the water feel very different to me plus, I can’t get reclined in my shower like I can in my big tub (I have a separate shower stall and tub).

Tub

If your bathroom is set up like mine, you’ll be able to relax in a nice warm bath instead of trying to get off standing up in the shower, which I can’t do.  I did try using the Bubble Love in the tub/shower in my smaller bathroom but that tub is quite narrow and I couldn’t get my legs spread apart as much as I needed to.  So yeah, you’re probably going to need a larger tub.  If you do have a comfortable tub/shower combo, maybe you could get a shower massager with a longer hose and try using it under the water.  If that leads to orgasms for you then you’ve spent a lot less than you would on the Bubble Love.  But then, you’re adding more water to your bath and if it takes you a long time to get off then… maybe I haven’t thought this all the way through.

Bubble Love attachments

Notice how the weight of it pulls against the suction cup. The Dilly also fell off several times while trying to take this picture. Not the best set up.

There’s a suction cup that attaches to the bottom for “hands-free” operation but it just wasn’t working out for me. It’s probably the texture on the floor of my tub, combined with the weight of the device. It wouldn’t stay suctioned and didn’t position the jet at the right height for me anyway, even though the height of the suction cup is sort of adjustable.  It’s just not realistic to expect hands-free operation.  Besides, you’ll want to keep a grip on this thing anyway so you can maintain control of the jet at all times.  I just hold the unit and tilt it up and down slightly so the bubbles caress my clit. It feels pretty damn wonderful and you don’t get numb like you can from a vibrator.

You can adjust the intensity of the bubbles by turning the little heart-shaped dial on the top. This is also where the tube for the float connects if you’re going to be usingBubble Love dial it in water that’s deep enough to cover the dial.  Even using the float, it still sucks in water sometimes and makes ridiculous sounding slurping noises.

You can also vary how the jet feels by moving the unit closer or farther away. Farther away, it feels more broad and diffused. Close up, it feels more pinpoint. I prefer to have it right up against me.

There is a silicone dildo attachment that Bubble Love calls the Dilly2 and it wasn’t really my cup of tea. It fits loosely into the socket beneath the bubble jet nozzle and kind of swivels around and easily falls off.  I think that if you want dual stimulation you’re probably better off just using a separate dildo, if you have enough room under the Bubble Love.

The instructions say that a full charge will last for over an hour of run time. The power switch flashes red when it needs to be recharged. The switch will flash green while it’s charging then go to steady green when charging is complete. This might seem like common sense but I do advise you to let the device dry out thoroughly before you plug it in to charge. You’re not supposed to run the Bubble Love when it’s not submerged in water. If you try, it’ll shut down and reset when you turn it off and on again.

Not gonna lie, this thing is kind of loud. I do think people outside your bathroom are going to hear you using it, unless maybe you have a jet tub and it’s running at the time. I guess you could always try to say that it’s a massager for sore muscles but I can’t promise that anyone would believe you.  Then again, the Bubble Love doesn’t scream “sex toy”. Of course, with the Dilly attached it’s a lot more obvious.

Bubble Love packaging

Bubble Love is certainly a fresh approach to self pleasuring. Granted, bubble jets are nothing new but having the power of one in your hand, allowing you to direct the stream exactly where you want, is something that I haven’t seen before.  It is rather expensive but anything new and different usually is. Unfortunately, that makes it a big gamble. I would hate to see someone spend that kind of cash and be totally disappointed. That’s why I say that those who need really intense stimulation might want to think long and hard about this one before buying it but I do think that people who have a large tub and relax in it often, will be pleased with the Bubble Love – just skip the Dilly, forget about using the suction cup and aim carefully.

No More Wet Spot blanket

NMWS blanket on king size bed.

It says what it does and does what it says. I guess they could have come up with a more creative name but as long as it keeps my bed clean and dry, I really don’t care what they call it. Usually, when one thinks “sex blanket” they think of the Liberator Throe. Well now we have an alternative, the No More Wet Spot water-proof blanket, and it is very different from the Throe. However, it does live up to its name and saves me from having to wash the sheets every time I have a squirting orgasm.

The NMWS blanket is very similar to another water-proof blanket that I recently reviewed, that is not marketed as a sex blanket. Unlike the Liberator Throe, which has a satiny side, this blanket has fleece on both sides and the water-proof layer in the middle and I think I like that better than slippery satin. The layers of this blanket are bonded together whereas the layers of the Throe kind of move around and can be pulled apart. I think this is another advantage over the Throe.

This blanket looks and feels to be well made. It is machine washable and can go in the dryer. So far, it seems durable, surviving the washer and dryer with no problem. The dimensions are 50″X60″ so, that gives you a fairly generous area to play on. The NMWS blanket comes in two color choices, one is turquoise and purple, the other is red and gray. I think more color options would be nice, like maybe something more neutral on both sides.

NMWS colors

You’ll want to wash this blanket before you use it the first time because it has something on the fabric that makes the liquid bead up and run all over the place. After washing, liquid soaks into the fleece but not through to the opposite side. The fleece is reasonably soft but I definitely wouldn’t describe this as plush and luxurious. The only complaint I have is that during long sessions it does get a bit hot.

The NMWS blanket was shipped to me with only brown paper wrapped around the product packaging. There was no outer shipping box (I hope they don’t ship to customers this way). The paper was torn and the plastic packaging was coming apart along the seam. Thankfully, I don’t think it was ripped enough for someone to get a good look at the product packaging inside because, it is not discreet. It pretty much says what it is and what it’s for and there is a woman in her underwear. Maybe they could improve the packaging to be a little more discreet (I don’t think the scantily clad woman is necessary). It might help prevent some embarrassing situations.

This blanket is priced below the Liberator Throe but is about $20 more than the other water-proof blanket I reviewed, which is slightly larger as well.

I do like my No More Wet Spot blanket very much. It does exactly what I need it to – preventing lube and body fluids from reaching the bed underneath. I think maybe they could come down on price just a little since I did find that other blanket, which is practically the same thing, for less. Bargain shopping aside, I do think it’s a well made product that serves its stated purpose and as an added bonus, you can take it picnicking to keep your butt dry.

Looking for a cheaper alternative to the Liberator Throe? I found it. If you need to protect your bed from messy sexy activities, Mambe’s waterproof blankets will do it and cost you less than a Liberator Throe. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Throe but I’ve heard time and time again that they’re just too expensive for a lot of people1. So, I started searching for something that could do the job for less. Granted, I didn’t have to search very long. I Googled “sex blanket” and Mambe’s site was first in the results. Nowhere on their site do they mention using their blankets as sex blankets but they must know that’s what some people will use them for.

They have several different types of blankets, all of which are waterproof. Some have fleece on one side and nylon on the other. I was looking for one of their most affordable options and found their “furniture covers”. These have fleece on both sides with a waterproof layer in the middle. I ordered the 60X60 for $59 and shipping was $10. You can get them large enough to cover the bed if you want to spend more. For the size they’re still a better value than the Throe.

Mambe Blanket

That’s the 60X60 furniture cover on a king size bed.

My blanket arrived fairly quickly considering it came from the Pacific Northwest and I’m in the Midwest. I was immediately impressed with how lightweight it is compared to the Throe. It feels very well made and the fleece is nice and soft.

I put it on the bed and poured some water on it and the water beaded up, not really soaking in. On one hand, I thought this was good because it shows that it’s not going to soak through to the other side but it could also be messy if you moved the blanket and the liquid rolled off onto the bed. I machine washed and dried the blanket and it came out perfect. I tested it again and this time, it absorbed the water but did not soak through to the other side. My bed stayed perfectly dry.

So obviously, I can’t speak to the durability of this blanket since I just got it but Mambe’s site does say that they’re “guaranteed for life”. I think I might actually like this blanket better than the Throe. My cat seems to like it too but the fleece is a fur magnet.KWDDSUS3QRDT7G73NLD3HW

If you’re looking for an even better deal, check their clearance items. Right now they have the furniture covers with minor cosmetic flaws in the fleece on sale at 40% off so, a 60X60 is only $35.  To make a sweet deal even sweeter, they’re running a free shipping promo.  You might also be happy to know that their blankets are sewn in the USA.

I am not affiliated with this company in any way and I bought my own blanket. I was just so excited to find a good alternative to the Liberator Throe that I had to tell you all about it.
