After a couple of months on hiatus, I’m back for a review of the Lovehoney Desire Luxury Prostate Massager. In the past, I’ve reviewed several different brands of prostate massagers with each one having a different design or vibrator that piqued my curiosity. As I was looking through items to review, the Lovehoney Desire Prostate Massager screamed out at me that it wanted to be up my ass so, how could I resist?

As with all toys that are going to be inserted into the body, silicone is the only way to go. This prostate massager is constructed of silicone that is very smooth and seamless.

The dimensions are base diameter 4.75”, circumference 4”, insertible length 3.75”, overall length 4.6”. This is a very comfortable toy as far as size goes so, beginners are welcome.

The vibrator is internal to the massager which is very cool because all positions are possible without the controls getting in the way, unlike some others that have a bullet vibe sticking out ¼ inch or more. Whether you lie flat, on your side or, prefer sitting upright the Lovehoney Desire Prostate Massager accommodates it all. It has 8 modes of vibration and 12 speed settings but what truly separates this from the competition is the remote control.

It’s USB rechargeable and fully charges in 120 minutes. Lovehoney says the charge lasts for 60 minutes but I used it for 5 sessions and it was still rocking HARD. I finally did throw it on the charger just in case.

Armed with plenty of water-based lube, the first insertion was very easy and comfortable. The only thing that took some work was getting the right angle but that’s to be expected with any toy. This prostate massager fits snugly and the base design holds it firmly between the cheeks and against the perineum. This massager hit my prostate immediately. I hadn’t even gotten comfortable or started squeezing and pre-cum was already flowing. It felt like it was custom-made for my body.

The part that I was looking forward to most was the remote control. It was a joy to be able to lie back and switch to different patterns and intensities without getting lube all over the place. The remote is very user-friendly and the buttons are spaced out and big enough that navigation is a breeze.

I was blown away by not only the vibrations but their placement. This prostate massager has a vibrator in the insertible portion as well as the base. This is the game changer. Having my prostate, asshole, perineum and my balls stimulated from one toy was amazing! That’s right, I said it. Having those places stimulated feels amazing!

The low setting gives a smooth light rumble but on high, it is very intense and made me go numb after a few minutes. The different patterns have something for everybody. You can have both vibes on steady to alternating between the tip and base. The patterns are very difficult to describe but take my word for it, you will want to experiment with them all.

I found that the middle vibration settings are the best for me. I usually go for steady vibrations but the Desire Prostate Massager made me rethink this stand. My favorite is the mode that alternates from the tip to the base. The timing of squeezing and relaxing with this rhythm brought me the most pleasure.

When it comes to the noise level, I will say this massager is loud. If you’re trying to be discreet, crank the TV or radio.

As far as clean-up goes, you’ll spend more time cleaning the cum and lube off of yourself than the massager. Just use some antibacterial soap and water and you’re good. It is fully waterproof so, don’t be afraid to hold it under the facet. The remote on the other hand, is splash-proof only so, I recommend some antibacterial wipes.

A nice hard-sided case is included. It can be locked but lock not included.

This is hands down the BEST prostate toy that I’ve ever used. As the saying goes, “You get what you pay for.” and the Lovehoney Desire Luxury USB Rechargeable Remote Control Prostate Massager¹ is exactly that.

It’s pricey compared to others but the quality of the toy makes it worth every cent. I felt as though my prostate play reached a peak and I would never be able to get those crazy, multiple hands-free orgasms but this massager has me feeling differently. I’ve used this toy about a dozen times before writing this review and I feel like I’m progressing towards the multiple prostate orgasms that many of us strive for.

Hello all, I’m back! With summer being here I’ve been spending a lot more time outside taking care of outdoor projects but realized it’s been awhile since I’ve taken care of indoor projects. So I’m diving in prostate first with the Tantus Prostate Play.

There were two things that attracted me to this product. One is that it’s constructed of silicone and that will always get my seal of approval and two, the serious curve of the tip! Of the several prostate toys that I own I have yet to experience this kind of curve. So in the name of science (and pleasure), let the insertion begin.

The Prostate Play is made of Tantus’ own unique formula of 100% ultra-premium silicone. It has 4” insertable length and the diameter is 1.1”. Also included is a 3 speed removable waterproof bullet vibe, powered by one 1.5v n type battery. These stats were taken straight from Tantus’ web site so, with all the technical description out of the way, on to my review.

One of the first things to stand out was how soft and flexible the toy is. It’s very smooth and has no seams. There are 4 ridges that wrap all the way around the base which helps to prevent slipping out during usage. The two tabs along the bottom are also very soft and flexible with a small bulbous end that sits against the perineum. This is a welcome change from some of the other prostate toys that use a hard plastic that actually digs into the skin (Aneros, I’m looking at you). The bullet vibe can be inserted into a hole in the base that holds it very snug. A small amount of lube added to the vibe will make insertion and removal much easier.

Since this is made of silicone, a good water-based lube is recommended and as with any anal toy, I feel there can never be enough lube!

Insertion wasn’t as easy as I anticipated. The size wasn’t the problem but the very pronounced angle of the tip took a little getting used to. Once I figured out the best angle of attack, things proceeded very smoothly. I found that when I reached the ridges at the bottom it was the time to slow things down and take my time. This was the part that became uncomfortable. It started to feel more like a dragging sensation even with plenty of lube.

Once fully inserted, the tabs fit very comfortably between the ass checks and there was no movement or slippage so, this can double as a butt plug. Walking or sitting, everything stayed in place!

This toy definitely hits the prostate. It didn’t take any squeezing or lying in different positions to start to feel contact. It was IMMEDIATE! Once I did start my squeezing routine I was leaking quick. This toy differs from other prostate massagers in that it provides pressure on my prostate at all times. It’s not a light touch but full on pressure in between squeezing. So much so, that when trying to relax the sphincter and catch my breath between squeezes, I involuntarily start clenching. This is probably the most leaking that I’ve experienced with a prostate toy.

Now onto the vibe. This is a 3 speed bullet vibe that fits snugly into the base. I’ve inserted it before and after the toy was in place so pick your poison. The end of the vibe sticks out 1/2” so, sitting directly on it can cause some additional pressure but didn’t mess with the button.

The speed settings are low continuous, high continuous and high intermittent (tap tap). This vibe is definitely more of a buzz than a rumble. The problem I found is that the vibrations didn’t translate very well to the tip. It was all confined to the base. That in itself created what I would consider the biggest surprise. The vibrations are so intense at the base that when I did try to relax in between deep squeezes, that’s when the real pleasure hit. This stimulated all the nerve endings in my asshole through the perineum and clear to my balls.

I’ve not been able to achieve the hands-free prostate orgasm yet but this toy combined with stroking produces a very strong orgasm not to mention a money shot that is porn worthy. When cumming it feels like the toy is shooting out of your ass but everything stays tightly in place.

Clean-up is simple and can be accomplished with just an antibacterial soap. As with many silicone toys, it becomes a lint magnet. So be careful where you store it. Ziplock bags might not be fancy but they work.

The Tantus Prostate Play isn’t the most expensive or the cheapest prostate toy out there. It’s middle of the road. I would not recommend this to a beginner but if you have prostate toy experience, this will give you a different sensation than the others. I would like to see a stronger vibrator as a possible upgrade in the future.

That’s fine if that’s what you like but I never miss a chance to recommend getting the We-Vibe Tango as a replacement. It fits in every Tantus toy I’ve tried and delivers a much stronger and rumblier vibration. I’ll definitely have to get dizzyguy to try the Prostate Play with the Tango inserted. I’m sure he’ll have an entirely different experience.

It has been awhile but I’m back to review the Aneros Vice. This was a toy that I was very interested in trying because I’ve owned the Helix for a few years and have had pretty good success with it. The fact that the Vice has a removable vibe is what really intrigued me. How much of a difference would vibration make? That’s what I was looking to uncover in this review.

The packaging for the Vice is pretty cool. It definitely lets you know what you’re in store for. It displays a “Winner of the AVN “O” award for outstanding product design for men” sticker and “over 1 million sold” on the outer packaging. The red outer sleeve has a pic of the Vice on the front and a description on the back. The storage case on the inside is a little more stealthy. It’s a red folding box that has Aneros written on the sides. The Vice and its vibe sit in a plastic form fitted piece that also contains the user’s manual. Storing this in plain view might not be a problem because anybody who knows what Aneros is will understand. But it’s also unusual enough that it might lead to questions.

The bullet vibe uses 1 AAA battery and is crafted from stainless steel. The Vice is constructed of high quality, medical grade silicone so, glycerin and paraben free water-based lube is recommended.

The first thing that I noticed is the size difference between the Helix and Vice. The Vice tip width is 1 1/4” compared to the Helix’s 1 1/16”. The Vice mid ridge width is 1 1/4” to the Helix’s 15/16”. Both have an insertion length of 4”. If you have any experience with butt plugs or other prostate toys, size shouldn’t be a problem.

The tabs at the base of the Vice are also different from the Helix. The perineum abutment tab (massages the taint) and the Kundalini or K-tab (which provides pressure on the Kundalini spot between your buttocks) are smooth and very comfortable. No more hard plastic edges rubbing my skin, which was a problem with the Helix. Once inserted, this toy stays in place and is very snug. Removal takes some effort.

The first time I used it, I wasn’t expecting the mind-blowing hands free orgasm or the multiple prostate orgasms but the main thing I noticed was how comfortable it is. Insertion was slow and steady but not painful or uncomfortable at all. Of course, I’m not shy with the lube and you shouldn’t be either. Once in place you can definitely tell that you’re hitting the prostate because of that having to pee feeling.

The breathing and squeezing technique with the Vice is a lot more intense than with the Helix because of the size, which gives you a more full feeling. It was very easy to get into that relaxed squeezing mood and I’m not sure how much time went by but I had quite a bit of leaking happening and I hadn’t even turned on the vibe.

The vibe has 3 different vibration strength settings with 2 patterns in those settings. They go from low, medium, and high. The vibration functions are steady, low to high (escalating), and tap tap tap.

The low constant vibration is very soothing and relaxing. It’s soft enough to get you warmed up but not too intense to be overwhelming. I found the low setting to be a good place to try the patterns. After a while the constant vibration is a bit much because it seems to numb things and feels a little too predictable when combined with the squeezing and relaxing. The low to high escalating pattern was the one that I found to be the best. When you’re squeezing and holding in this setting, each repetition feels like you’re building closer and closer to an orgasm. The tap tap tap pattern was too predictable and I found it to be distracting.

The medium setting is my favorite. The vibrations are very intense and feel more like a rumble. The constant setting is very powerful but after a while will make things numb. The tap tap tap pattern was a bit more pleasurable but still felt predictable. Again, the low to high escalation is my favorite pattern. The vibrations are intense enough to keep you going but not too high to numb the area. This resonates all the way up to your lower abdominals. Squeezing with the medium power escalation pattern was bar none, the best part.

The high setting is definitely that. It’s more like a buzz than a rumble. The vibrations didn’t make me numb but very sensitive and tingly. I wasn’t able to stay on the constant vibration setting for more than a few minutes because it didn’t feel like I was building toward an orgasm at all. It felt more like just a vibrator. The tap tap tap pattern felt a lot better on this speed than the others but I think the little break in the rhythm combined with the high vibrations made me feel like my prostate was under attack. The low to high escalation is next level stuff. The rumble at the bottom and the buzz at the top are very intense. I found that after using this pattern for a while though, things leveled off and didn’t seem like I was building toward an orgasm.

Clean-up is very easy. I recommend putting a small amount of lube on the vibe before inserting it into the Vice, as it will make removal a piece of cake even with lube everywhere. Antibacterial soap does the trick on the Vice but I’m a bit more cautious cleaning the vibe. There is an o-ring under the cap but it is not recommended for submerging underwater. Antibacterial wipes are perfect for cleaning the vibe. Cleaning the lube off of myself seemed to take longer than actually cleaning the toy.

I have yet to achieve the coveted hands free orgasm or multiple prostate orgasms with the Vice but I’m definitely not done trying and I’m here to tell you this is a great product. After each session I feel completely whooped. When I do have an orgasm, the length and volume far exceed regular masturbation. My ass is usually buzzing and very sensitive. The closest thing to describe this feeling is when you are on the receiving end of a good rim job. This toy also works great when combined with a blowjob. I can usually last awhile but with the Vice inserted, Dizzygirl doesn’t have to work very hard to get me off.

I had used the Vice quite a bit before writing this review because I feel it’s impossible to review a prostate toy after only one or two tries. This is a toy that you’re going to want to be patient with unless you are a very experienced prostate toy user. I’ve found this product to get better with each use. I definitely do recommend the Vice. I did find what I was looking for in reviewing this toy. The difference of having vibrations with a prostate toy is pretty incredible. I’m not going to stop using non-vibrating prostate toys but the Aneros Vice has definitely found its way into my rotation.

When you receive this item, the packaging will be the first thing to tip you off that this is a Cadillac sex toy. Nice box with form-fitting padding and soft material that you can store anywhere without drawing too much attention.

Removing the Pfun, the first thing that intrigued me was how heavy this toy is. It’s 310 grams (11oz) of stainless steel that could probably double as a weapon. Very smooth sleek surface that looks like a piece of art. The shape and size of this is very different from my Aneros Helix. It’s longer, heavier and the angle is a lot more pronounced. The head is the same size as the medium Njoy Pure Plug that I use on a regular basis so, I was sure the fit was going to be good. The 1.25 inch diameter should accommodate beginners and it’s also filling enough for regular users.

The first time I used the Njoy Pfun was more to get the feel of it and not to go for the hands free orgasm. Insertion was very easy and comfortable when used with lube. Since it is stainless steel you can use either water-based or silicone-based lube without damaging the toy. Of course, I recommend Wet Platinum (our favorite go-to silicone-based lube). My mistake was using too much, which made it very difficult to keep it in. I’ve found there are many positions that work well. Laying on your back, side and on all fours provide for different feelings and keep the toy comfortably in place. The position that worked best for me was sitting directly on it. Removal and clean-up was easy.

I’ve used the Njoy Pfun on multiple occasions so I could really give it an honest rating. After several attempts, I was able to achieve the coveted hands free orgasm. This was not an easy undertaking and took some time. I put on some porn and started the squeezing process. The stimulation is very different from the Aneros Helix that I’m used to. Best butt plug ever made, full stop. OK, maybe I’m not the most qualified to make that claim since I really only dabble in all things anal, including plugs. The Pure Plug is shaped like and sometimes sold as a prostate stimulator but there’s no reason us vagina-having folks can’t use it. It’s hands down, the most comfortable butt plug I’ve tried. You probably wouldn’t expect that from solid stainless steel but, it’s true. I can wear this plug for long periods of time and it stays in place perfectly. I love that the neck is so thinly tapered. That’s another feature that makes this plug so comfortable but for those who really want to feel stretched, this probably won’t do it for you. The shape of the base is genius; sitting between the cheeks just the way you’d want it to and always feeling safe and secure. I’m by no means an anal queen and the medium is just perfect for me. But it also comes in small and large so you should be able to find a size that suits you. And if you really want something even bigger njoy makes the Pure Plug 2.0.

Stainless steel is a brilliant material for sex toys because it’s totally body-safe, nonporous and phthalates free. Clean up couldn’t be easier. Soap and water or a toy cleaner is fine most of the time. However, since this is going in the butt, you may want to sanitize it from time to time, especially before you share it with someone else. You can do this by boiling it for a few minutes. I’ve heard you really shouldn’t use bleach solution on stainless steel so, probably best to stay away from that. Also, don’t use anything abrasive on it or, you’ll mar the finish. Njoy only uses the finest medical grade stainless steel. There are cheaper grades of stainless steel available but njoy won’t use them because they actually have pride in their product and integrity in their business practices. And that can be hard to come by these days.

The Pure Plug is polished to mirror shine perfection. It’s so cool and sleek. With a little lube, it slides right in. Speaking of lube, you can use any kind you prefer with stainless steel. My only suggestion is that when it comes to all things anal, the thicker the lube, the better. It provides more cushioning for the delicate tissues of the ass, which does not self lubricate like vaginae do. I really like using Pleasure Works Please Cream Lube, which I happen to be infatuated with at the moment.

There’s a point as I’m gently pushing it against my anus that my ass grabs hold of it and greedily pulls it in. It is then that I am grateful for and realize the importance of the flared base. Unlike other plugs I’ve tried, this one actually stays in place pretty well during sex. Usually they come shooting out like a torpedo but the Pure Plug stubbornly stays in my ass. Dizzyguy said the base didn’t bother him against his testicles. He said it was pretty comfortable because it’s so sleek and slippery. And unlike many other plugs, the base of the Pure Plug does not block my vagina (but that can vary based on one’s anatomy).

The Pure Plug is packaged beautifully in a satin lined box. Njoy just knows how to do things right. If you take proper care of this plug, it really should last you a lifetime. Then maybe when you die, you can be buried with it in your ass, which you’ll probably want since you’ll grow to love it so much.

There’s really not much more I can say about the Pure Plug. It’s awesome. You should get one. It’s really that simple. I have not one single complaint about it. Totally recommend it.

When I started looking around at cleansing options I found that most lower priced enema bags were made of materials I wasn’t too thrilled about, like rubber. Plus, the ones you see in the drugstore are often the inverted water bottle type. That means you fill it, connect the tubing, then turn it upside down and it hangs there with the opening toward the floor, which can cause it to leak. Another downside to these type of bags is, when you hang it to dry, it collapses in the middle and that leaves the perfect environment for mold growth in the top of the bag.

I kept looking and found some top filling enema bags but many times, there was still the issue of material. Finally, I found some silicone bag and tubing kits and I thought: that’s it. I’ll get one of those. That was until I saw how much they cost. For a silicone enema bag kit, you’re looking at triple digits and I just didn’t think I’d be using it enough to justify paying that much. And beware, there are knockoff “silicone” enema bags being sold on Amazon.

I didn’t give up though and eventually stumbled across a reasonable solution… stainless steel enema buckets with silicone tubing. These kits were much more affordable than the silicone ones. So, that’s what I got and I’m happy with it.

My bucket holds 3.5 quarts and is made of food grade stainless steel. It has a removable harness for hanging but it’s pretty heavy when it’s full of water so, I just take the harness off and put the bucket on top of the toilet tank. The medical grade silicone tubing is 5.5ft long and allows me to get into a comfortable position on the bathroom floor. Well, as comfortable as you can be lying on a cold hard floor, having an enema. The kit even came with a check valve that prevents anything from back washing into the tubing. This wasn’t offered in many of the more expensive silicone kits.

The only downside to the bucket is that you can’t see how much water is left in there and you have to get up to look but I can live with that. Everything cleans up easily. When I’m done I put some antibacterial soap in the bucket and fill it with water. Then I let the soapy water drain through the tubing. I wash the nozzle, check valve and the short piece of tubing that connects to the valve, in antibacterial soap as well.  And if you’re thinking of getting into coffee enemas (I’m not) the stainless steel bucket is a great way to go because coffee can stain the silicone bags.

I don’t find the cleansing process enjoyable at all. In fact, it can be downright uncomfortable. Enema fetishes exist and I’m not judging but it’s definitely not sexual for me in any way. Although, as much it sucks while I’m doing it when it’s all over I really do feel lighter and cleaner… and of course there’s the worry free anal sex later on.

So you see, it’s a whole long, pain in the ass (no pun intended) process, which is why I don’t have anal sex very often. I wish there was an easier way. The anal douches don’t appeal to me because I don’t feel like they would flush everything out. I figure my only other option is getting comfortable with taking a chance on the presence of fecal matter and I just don’t see that happening. Then again, even with a thorough cleansing, there’s always a chance that there could be some fecal matter but I feel more relaxed knowing I’ve tried to clean everything out.

Why did I feel the need to share this? Hell, I don’t know but if you’re looking for a safe and affordable way to cleanse before anal sex, I can recommend the PureLife stainless steel bucket kits. I bought my own kit and PureLife has not compensated me in any way for this post.

The Cogilia is made of Platinum Silicone (“platinum” refers to the curing process), which is one of the best materials for sex toys.  It is both body safe and hygienic, as it can be sterilized.  Considering where you’ll be shoving these, that’s a must.  You can use a 10% bleach solution to sterilize them or boil them for about five minutes.  I’m pretty comfortable washing them with antibacterial soap but if I were inclined to put them in my vagina (I’m not) or share them, they would definitely need to be sterilized.

The silicone has a matte finish and feels velvety against the skin.  I don’t notice them picking up excessive amounts of lint.    These beads aren’t seamless and the largest bead has a raised FeelzToys logo.  I felt neither when inserted.   The Cogilia only comes in one color and it’s a bright, can’t miss it, puplish fuschia.

FeelzToys specifies the use of water based lubricant only.  This is pretty standard for silicone toys.  It’s best to never use silicone lube with silicone toys.  The silicone lube breaks down the silicone of the toy and it becomes gooey and sticky and ruins the toy.  You also want to store these beads away from other silicone toys.

The packaging is fairly simple and not discreet.  The beads can be seen through the cellophane window of the box.  They do not come with a storage bag but I just use Ziplock bags for my silicone toys that have no pouch of their own.

So was it good for me?  Yeah, they were pleasant enough and I have no complaints.  Now, I know that their main purpose is to enhance orgasm by pulling them out right at that glorious moment.  Unfortunately, my lady parts can be fickle.  It seems as though conditions have to be exactly right and Venus retrograde, for me to get off.  So, trying to get myself there while preparing to pull the beads is kind of awkward.  This has nothing to do with the performance of the beads.  It’s just something unique to me.  I liked having them inserted while having sex, doggy style, where my husband could easily jiggle them back and forth.  The beads are a little on the small side, which makes them perfect for a beginner but for those needing more girth, you might want to pass on these.
