The first time I tried the Marvelous Flicker, I forgot to bring my trusty, go-to, back-up vibe that I usually have on hand if a new toy lets me down and I can’t get off. To be honest, not a single one of the other designs in the California Exotic Novelties Mini Marvels line looked appealing to me¹ but that’s only because I’m a pretty good judge of what my clit likes. Then CalEx released the Marvelous Teaser and it sent my heart aflutter.

I haven’t often been able to say wonderful things about CalEx toys. Once, I was so mean that they decided they didn’t want my opinion anymore (but I really hated that thing). This isn’t just a vibe that’s eh… OK for under $50. The Teaser knocks my socks off for under $50. When I embarked on this project to find Sex Toys $50 and Under That Don’t Suck, I was most excited about trying to find those diamonds in the rough – those toys that shock the shit out of you because they’re so good for such a low price. That’s exactly what I found with the Marvelous Teaser.

The first time I used it, I had one of those orgasms where I’m glad no one was home. Although, I might have scared the cats. I lay there stunned by how good it was. I’d stop right there and declare the Marvelous Teaser a fabulous clit vibe but it also passed my personal test of giving me multiple orgasms in a sesh. Yes!

The Teaser has 3 levels of steady vibration. I’d love to have more but really, the low and medium settings are all I need for toe curling, involuntarily vocalizing orgasms. The high steady setting is a little too much for my clit but it’s not buzzy, which often happens at many vibrator’s high settings.

If you know me, you know I could cast patterns straight to hell but I know some folks enjoy them and the Marvelous Teaser has 7 of them in various rhythms of pulsation and escalation. I’m terrible at describing patterns so, you’ll just have to forgive me for not trying.

I do have to talk about the shape – the good and the… what were they thinking? The great part of the shape is how perfect it is for how my clit likes to be stimulated. That thin tip can nuzzle right up against the side of my clit and it honestly feels like it was custom-made just for me.

The head-scratcher is how CalEx designed the Marvelous Teaser to be held. They intended for you to hold it between your index and middle finger and I just have to say – NO. It feels awkward and how the hell are you supposed to control the buttons holding it that way?

This weird design thing isn’t a deal breaker though. I just hold it like a normal human being would with my thumb above the buttons. When I first saw the Teaser, it reminded me of the Leaf Life, probably just because of the shape and color. I’m not sure if they were trying to set it apart with that weird design.

Can we talk about the motor in this thing? Right out of the box, I turned it on and it really impressed me with the strength and rumble. I was talking about how impressive it is on Twitter and one of my followers agreed. They said it was so nice to be able to recommend something to their customers that’s under $50, with a strong motor that won’t crap out in under a year. It was validation for me that I judged this vibe correctly.

I wanted to review the Blush Novelties Gaia Eco Biodegradable Recyclable Vibrator for a few reasons. First, it’s (way) under $50. It’s that classic vibrator design. And it’s made of starch-based bioplastic.

What the hell is starch-based bioplastic? Uhm, I’m not really sure. But what I do know, because I asked a Blush rep, is that it’s as nonporous and nontoxic as ABS plastic.

And apparently, according to Blush, the Gaia Eco “is created using less energy and creates less greenhouse gas emissions than any other sex toy on the market.” That’s why I chose to review this particular vibrator over the countless others of the same design.

I also wanted to review the Gaia Eco because it uses 2 AA batteries which tend to make vibes more powerful than the more commonly used AAA batteries. Plus, I like the idea of the twist dial control. I have another inexpensive, battery operated vibrator with a twist dial and I think the variable speed is better than a button that gives you three set speeds.

First impressions out of the box started with, wow and ended with, puzzlement. I took the Gaia Eco out of its minimal packaging, popped in the batteries, turned the dial and thought:  Wow, this thing is pretty strong and rumbly, especially for a battery operated vibe.

Then I noticed this weird loose ring thing right above the cap. This is where I became puzzled. Why did they do that? It’s kind of annoying because even with the cap closed tightly, that ring is still loose. You can spin it around. So, I guess it would suck if you lost it and it also provides an area for lube and vag gunk to live.

Seriously, what’s with that ring?

You could remove the ring and carefully wipe that part of the vibe clean. In fact, you should be careful whenever cleaning this vibe anyway because it’s splash-proof only.

You can clean this vibe (don’t submerge it) with soap and water or a toy cleaner. Any kind of lube will work. It doesn’t come with a travel pouch but a vibe like this would be good for travel because you can pack it separately from the batteries and not have to worry about a TSA incident.

Alright, now for the real test. Does the Gaia Eco impress me enough to add it to my Sex Toys $50 and Under That Don’t Suck list?

Well, first of all, I’d like to mention that you can use this vibe internally and externally (but don’t use anally). The thing is, for me personally, the shape of this vibe does nothing for my vag. Some folks might like it though. This is just a preference thing, really. It’s not going to provide much girth either at 1” in diameter.

Because of my personal preferences, I mainly consider vibes like the Gaia Eco to be clitoral vibes. So, how did it feel on my clit? Lets just say that after the first orgasm I was left thinking: did a $15 vibrator really just do that? The vibration is nice and rumbly and I found that I didn’t need to turn the dial up to high. It took a little longer to achieve orgasm than it does with my favorite clit vibe but maybe because of that, the orgasms felt more intense. And yes, I said “orgasms” because I tried for my magic number – 3 in a sesh – and The Gaia Eco didn’t let me down. Also, some folks will be interested to know that the vibration doesn’t seem to dampen under pressure.

So, what’s the verdict? Can I put the Blush Gaia Eco in my Sex Toys $50 and Under That Don’t Suck category? I want to scream, “yes” but I can only say, “yes.” And that’s because of that weird loose ring. Some might find it annoying. But I don’t think it’s a total deal breaker. I just wish they hadn’t made it that way. Maybe they can take this feedback and update the design to eliminate that ring and possibly make it waterproof too. Then I could enthusiastically recommend it as a great toy under $50.

I recently declared that I was going on a mission to find Sex Toys Under $50 That Don’t Suck. To that end, the FemmeFunn Ultra Bullet was the first toy I requested to review. I saw a couple of positive reviews for it on PeepShow Toys‘ site by other reviewers I know so, I thought this vibe might have a good chance of not sucking.

And wow, does it not suck. I was kind of shocked the first time I turned it on. It’s got some good power behind it and it’s a pleasant, non-buzzy vibration. I also instantly fell in love with the silicone. I kinda wish everything was made of this silicone. It’s extremely soft and silky with almost no drag at all.

So, first impressions were very good but how did it feel on my clit? In a word – perfect. The lowest steady vibration setting is exactly what I need to have orgasms. It actually feels a lot like the Lust L2 that I never shut up about (also on the Sex Toys Under $50 That Don’t Suck list).

My clit seems to have changed and evolved over the years. When I started this blog, I had SSRI induced anorgasmia. Back then, it took pretty powerful vibration to get me off. Since then, I’ve found a medication that reverses the anorgasmia (for me) and now I don’t need such powerful vibration. So, the low steady vibration is all I need to have orgasms. The high steady setting is actually a bit too much for me but that power will be appreciated by some folks.

It even passed my personal test of giving me three orgasms in a sesh – the criterion needed to make me fall in love with a vibrator.

They call this vibe a bullet but it’s not going to fit into any toys that have a bullet cavity, like Tantus’ vibrating dildos. It’s a nice size for ease of grasping though. You can’t avoid feeling the vibration a lot in your fingers but I guess that’s to be expected given its strength and size.

The FemmFunn Ultra Bullet really exceeded my expectations but it’s not without a flaw. Well, this may only be a flaw to me, others might find it a feature. Patterns… ugh. I wish they would have just given this vibe steady vibration settings and maybe like more than three.

But if you like patterns, this vibe has 17 of them. I just hate it when I accidentally find myself in pattern land and have to press the button that many times to get back to where I want to be. I did discover that if you are on the high steady vibration setting and press and hold the button to turn it off, when you turn it back on, it’s on high (so it has memory) and if I press the button one more time, it goes back to low steady vibration. So, I’ve avoided the patterns most of the time.

Water-based lube is the best choice to use with this vibe. It’s also waterproof, which makes cleaning easy. And you can do that with soap and water or a toy cleaner. It’s rechargeable and while it’s doing that, it makes me feel like I’m at a rave.

The FemmeFunn Ultra Bullet ticks many of the boxes required for me to call it a great vibe at good price. I think the only thing missing is a travel lock but I can overlook that. It does comes with a pouch though and that’s kind of nice when you consider there are $200 sex toys that don’t.

Look! It’s like a Swan Wand only smaller. Why would they make a miniature version of the undeniable powerhouse that is the Swan Wand? I’m not entirely sure but really… why not?

The The Mini Swan Wand is a perfect little replica of one of my favorite vibes. However, the shape and color is pretty much where the similarities stop. It does have a nice rumbly vibration that is reminiscent of the full-sized Swan Wand, just on a much lesser scale, which one would expect because you can’t quite fit the same size motor in the Mini as there is in the original.

I love that the The Mini Swan Wand doesn’t have patterns. I loathe patterns, most of the time. The original Swan Wand has them and I do find it annoying. But hey, to each their own, right? The press and hold, incremental intensity is pretty awesome. I like vibes that work that way with one caveat, if you want to decrease intensity, you have to turn it off and start all over again.

I tend to try for 3 orgasms in a sesh¹, which is very possible with the right vibrator. For whatever reason, no matter how perfect the The Mini Swan Wand is on paper, it can only give me the first orgasm. I have to switch to a different vibe to achieve the second and third. I’m not sure why that is except maybe… my clit is finicky? It likes things to be a certain way.

Swan Wand, The Mini Swan Wand and Jopen Lush L2

The motor is in the larger end of the Mini, it’s not a dual vibrator like its bigger sibling, the Swan Wand. I think given its size, it’s pretty obvious they couldn’t cram another motor in the smaller end. I do wish the vibration was focused in the smaller end though. One thing I know for sure is that my clit likes more precise application of vibration. A smaller vibrating tip that can nuzzle up to the right side (yes, it’s a righty) of my clit, in just the right way, is what usually produces multiple orgasms for me.

Just in case you’re inclined to get the Mini for internal use, I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you’re looking for something really small. It wasn’t even long enough to reach my G-spot. This vibe did nothing for my vagina and I don’t think it was really meant for that anyway.

I’m trying to find y’all some more affordable sex toys. So, I requested the CalEx Silhouette S12 because it looked interesting and had some nice features. Not that $42 is chump change but in the world of rechargeable silicone vibrators, it’s relatively inexpensive. Can you get cheaper sex toys? Absolutely. But as you go down in cost, you encounter more of the materials that I don’t recommend. So at first glance, the Silhouette S12 looked like a contender.

How did the Silhouette S12 measure up? Well, in a literal sense, it’s kind of petite. Size Royalty will look at this vibe and yawn. But then, the smaller size will be appreciated by some. The bulbous head, which is the fattest part, is about 1.5” in diameter. I actually measured 1.47”. The insertable length is close to 5”, depending on how you measure it, but the product description says 4.25”. Most folks’ G-spot is situated rather shallowly in the vagina so the length is probably sufficient for most.

What do I like? The silicone is so silky and has almost zero drag (more of this please). It’s rechargeable through a magnetic connection and at the contacts, the charging cord is the same color as the toy so, I didn’t lose it in a rat’s nest of charging cords. Also, I had this thing sitting dormant for almost a year and still, when I picked it up and pressed the button, it turned on. I was stunned by that. And it’s waterproof… can’t forget to mention that. It’s important.

I wouldn’t say that there’s anything I absolutely hate about this vibrator. To me, it’s kind of mediocre overall. A sex toy newb would probably feel like they didn’t waste their money but an aficionado will likely not be impressed. And that’s largely because of the vibration – both its tone and strength. It’s a little on the buzzier side, with the first setting (lowest steady vibration) feeling the least buzzy. Most folks I talk to want rumblier vibration than this but not everyone – some prefer buzzy. And in terms of power, it ain’t no Swan Wand, that’s for sure. Not everyone needs that kind of power though.

So, those are just my initial observations. What did my vagina think? Let’s just say, I didn’t have a good jerk session, which is not entirely the S12’s fault. I thought I’d go for some dual stimulation with my beloved L2 (if you follow my blog you’re probably tired of me talking about that vibe).

I started out trying to get the feel for using the S12. Once inside my vag, my suspicion was confirmed that I wouldn’t be able to stimulate my G-spot the way I like to. I prefer rigid toys that I can really jam up in there and apply a lot of pressure. The rigid curved ones like the Comet II are great for this and the rocking motion that I sometimes employ.

You can’t really do that with the Silhouette S12. The bulbous head is rigid but the shaft is flexible so it’s just not compatible with my way of jerking off. I think you need to use more of a subtle in and out movement with this vibe. By doing that, I was able to get some G-spot stimulation, just not as intense as I like. If you like more subtle G-spot stimulation and the Pure Wand terrifies you then the S12 should be a good fit.

So, things are moving along and starting to feel like I could have an orgasm and… the L2’s battery dies (sad trombone), leaving me quite frustrated. Doing the only thing I could at the moment, I pulled the S12 from my vag and started using it on my clit. It wasn’t easy but I was able to squeak out an orgasm. It just doesn’t nuzzle my clit the way I like my clit vibrators to do and as I mentioned before, the tone of the vibration isn’t right for me.

I think as reviewer, I have a certain amount of privilege. We do get to try the best of the best in sex toys but they’re usually at a much higher price than the Silhouette S12. I don’t know how much this privilege is affecting my overall evaluation of this vibe.

I’m going to say that this toy might be good for a beginner and I hate using that phrase. However, I’m not recommending it to a newb because I think it sucks (which some people will do) but because I think they’d be more satisfied with it. They’re not as jaded as I am. If you’ve used sex toys a long time and you’ve refined your taste, you probably won’t be too impressed with the Silhouette S12.

In a nutshell… it ain’t bad. I can’t give it a glowing review but I do like it for the features you get at the price.

Even though wand type massagers aren’t my clit’s favorite kind of vibe, I found the Maia Zoe interesting because of the dual motors. There’s one in the head (of course) and there’s one in the handle. So, that’s kind of unique but not completely original because Cal Ex made one with dual motors first. There may be others but that’s the only other one I know of.

First, full disclosure: the first Zoe I received was defective. The charging cable’s pin did not fit into the charging port correctly. It was too loose and would not snap into place like you’d expect. The silicone around the port almost pushed it all the way back out. I could get it to intermittently work by forcefully pushing it in and jiggling it around. Clearly, something wasn’t right.

I contacted Maia and described the problem. They apologized and sent a replacement with no hassle. The new Zoe did not have the same problem. The charging pin for the new Zoe fit into place just right. When I compared the new and old charging cables, it seemed as though the pin on the old defective one was slightly shorter than the new one. So, that means, depending on how many defective ones are out there, you might end up with one. But I think Maia knows that they have an issue with the Zoe and they would probably replace it with no problem and I know PeepShow Toys will also take care of their customers.

Alright, technical difficulties aside, what did I think? When I first turned on the motor in the head I actually uttered the words, “holy shit”. I wasn’t expecting it to have that kind of power and rumble. I was fully prepared to tell you that it was buzzy and weak as fuck. But it’s nice that I can still be surprised.

Now, what about the motor in the handle? Well, let me tell you… it’s buzzier than a beehive being raided by a black bear¹. And it’s pretty weak to boot. I honestly don’t see the point in having the motor in the handle when it feels so underwhelming.

The two motors are independently controlled, which is good. You can also have one turned on while the other is off, which is also good. Both motors can be on at the same time, if you happen to find a way to use it like that.

The silicone is a nice powdery soft kind that produces little drag. They put this inexplicable area of plastic chrome on the backside of the wand. Not only does it look tacky but creates seams that didn’t need to exist.

The Zoe is waterproof and water-based lube is recommended. To my total surprise and disbelief, it comes with a storage pouch. That’s right, a lower priced brand can manage to do what luxury companies like Fun Factory can’t. It ain’t much but I thought it was a nice touch. Oh and, it’s USB rechargeable. Almost forgot to mention that.

Alright, so what did my picky-ass clit think of the Zoe? Well, obviously that buzzy-as-fuck handle end was getting nowhere near it but as for the strong, rumbly head? With the size of the head, it’s totally feasible that you could insert that end into your vag, if you felt so compelled. I did not. The Zoe was meant for my clit and only my clit.

And with a generous helping of some Good Clean Love lube, I began rubbing that rumbling head against my clit. It felt good but I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to orgasm, and then… it happened, twice. Granted, it didn’t happen as quickly as when I use something like my We-Vibe Touch but it did happen, despite the fact that the Zoe really isn’t my ideal kind of vibe. So, if it is the sort of vibe you prefer then it might just rock your socks… erm, I mean, give you good orgasms.

So, if you want to get the Maia Zoe, get it for the pleasantly strong and rumbly motor in the head and not because it has dual motors. The handle motor is just a waste really. Besides, if you even try to insert the handle end into your vag, which I assume is the intended purpose, you’re going to have the charging port and some of that tacky plastic chrome inside you. I’m guessing vag gunk in the charging port probably isn’t good and I don’t know about you but, I don’t want that plastic chrome crap in my vag.

The Maia Zoe is a decent mid-sized wand massager with a couple of flaws. I’m not really sure who I could recommend it to. I guess anyone who’s looking for something that size with some pretty decent strong rumbly vibes. But perhaps the fact that they put that crappy little buzzy vibe in the handle drives the cost up a bit. If that’s the case, you may be able to find a similar wand massager for less.

Also, I have to mention – I have no idea why they spelled “twisty” as “twistty” and it bugs the shit out of me.

Tantus is the quintessential manufacturer of premium body-safe silicone dildos and butt plugs (and one of my favorite companies). Now, with the Rumble, they’ve entered the world of vibrators. It all started with a popular crowd-funding campaign, for which there was an outpouring of support. They wanted to create a vibe that could be used by anyone, regardless of gender or disability. I think Tantus succeeded in what they set out to accomplish with the Rumble.

First, a quick run-down of the pros and cons.

Cons

• Broad head is not good for me. Interested to see future attachments. Need something more pinpoint and something insertable would be good.
• Not as powerful as a wand massager like the Magic Wand but it was never meant to be. Tantus wanted it to have levels of intensity that are suitable for a wide range of people.
• Vibration gets kind of buzzy at highest intensity
• Not waterproof or splash-proof

The Rumble isn’t the fanciest vibe I own but sometimes, simplicity is better. I often don’t need a lot of the bells and whistles that other vibes have. Just give me some good rumbly, steady, pinpoint vibration and I’m happy.

The controls are situated so that you aren’t likely to accidentally turn it off. If you click the (+) button too many times and end up in pattern land, a place I loathe to find myself, you can click the (-) button and get back to the steady vibration settings.

The shape is angled in a way that it’s not awkward to hold while reaching the places you want it.

I would really like to see at least a splash-proof version. I don’t want to use it in the bath, I just want to be able to easily clean the unit itself. For now, antibacterial wipes will have to do.

I definitely need to reevaluate the Rumble with attachments that are better suited for me. It’s not that I dislike the Rumble. I think it’s a quality vibrator with a thoughtful design. It would be perfect for those who enjoy broad stimulation but that rarely gets me off. Tantus does have plans for some additional attachments and it looks like at least one of them will be just what I need. Who knows, with a pinpoint-y attachment it might rock my world and I could be ranting and raving about the Rumble. For now though, all I can really say is that it’s well made and probably good for people with preferences that are different from my own.

Jimmyjane has always been a bit of pretentious brand. I know I’ve said this before but it bears repeating. At one time, they were advertising a ride on a private jet for $35,000. You’d have to spend over $100 to get any of the vibes in their Form line. I really liked the Form 4 but the Form 6 was ridiculously bad and totally not worth the exorbitant price.

Somewhat recently, the same company that owns Pipedream (a company that I don’t support) bought Jimmyjane. So, that might be what led to the creation of their new Intro line of vibes. I do like the idea that they’re trying to offer more affordable toys. These vibes are all made of body-safe silicone – I wouldn’t be reviewing them if they weren’t – they’re waterproof and batteries are included, which are probably the best attributes of any of them.

A couple of their Intro vibes come in the same shapes as their Form vibes (the 2 and 6) but they use batteries instead of being rechargeable. I was disappointed to find that they all use 2 AAA batteries with the exception of the Intro 1, which uses three watch batteries – uhm, no. Early in my reviewing career I would have been more forgiving of a vibe powered by watch batteries but now? Not so much. Actually, I’m kind of surprised that Jimmyjane would put their “prestigious” name on a vibe that uses watch batteries.

Given the fact that they’re powered by AAA batteries and watch batteries, they’re not nearly as powerful as Jimmyjane’s rechargeable Form vibes. I think maybe they could have gotten more power using 2 AA batteries instead. Would it have been that difficult to design them that way?

Browsing Jimmyjane’s offerings, I realized that if you wanted a small, watch battery-powered vibe, you could get their Iconic Bullet. It probably feels a lot like the Intro 1, which is weak and buzzy, but I don’t think it has patterns. If you simply must have patterns, the Intro 1 is 12 bucks more but since patterns don’t do much of anything for me, I don’t think it’s worth it. Suffice to say, I’m not impressed with the Intro 1. Not even a little. But at least it’s made of body-safe silicone and it’s waterproof.

Honestly, this vibe didn’t blow me away either but if you want something similar that costs less, I can recommend the BMS Factory Rain Vibe. It’s small, waterproof, uses one AAA (instead of 3 friggin watch batteries) and has more power than the Intro 1. Then again, I think a gentle breeze across my clit would be more stimulating than the Intro 1.

Next up we have the Intro 2, which looks a lot like the Form 2 or, what many like to call… the tooth vibe. I’ve tried one of these pronged vibes before and that one did nothing for me. My clit just doesn’t work that way. I almost always use vibes on the right side of my clit (it’s a righty) or on top. The left side doesn’t get a lot of love but it doesn’t really want any so, the Intro 2 isn’t designed for me in mind. But different clits do like different things and as I understand it, some people actually like the Form 2 so, maybe those people would also like the Intro 2. It might be hard to be objective since the Intro 2 isn’t my kind of vibe but I feel like it’s rather weak and buzzy. It’s like sandwiching my clit between two frenzied bees on meth.

The Intro 4 looks nothing like the Form 4 (which I love for clit stim) and the shape of it totally did not excite me in any way. And you might be noticing a pattern here… it was pretty much weak and buzzy. I really don’t have anything else to say about this one. It’s totally forgettable and I don’t even think Jimmyjane needed to add it to the collection.

The one vibe in the Intro line that I thought might have half a chance of impressing me was the Intro 6. Yes, I hated the Form 6 but I thought its shape was OK for G-spotting so, I figured the Intro 6 at least had that going for it.

So, was the Intro 6 the saving grace of the Intro line? Well, I did like it the best but that’s not saying much. As expected, the shape is pretty good for G-spotting but it just doesn’t have enough power for me. My G-spot needs more power than my clit does so, the Intro 6 just doesn’t make the cut. On my clit if feels… just OK. It’s kind of boring and as with all these Intro vibes, it’s weak and buzzy. It’ll work in a pinch but I have other vibes I would much rather use for clit stim. It’s like, I can orgasm with it on my clit but I don’t enjoy it all that much.

A good alternative to the Intro 6 is a vibe that I really do like and it’s only $9 more. The Lovelife Cuddle is more powerful and rechargeable. The only complaint I have about it is that it’s splash-proof and not waterproof. But I don’t use my toys in the bath so, that’s fine with me.

Overall, I’m just totally underwhelmed with the Jimmyjane Intro vibes. I know I can’t expect the same level of quality and powerful vibration as a $100+ vibrator but still… I really can’t get excited about any of these vibes. And that ain’t just the depression talking.

This isn’t an attempt to sugarcoat but I have to say it – if you don’t need deep, powerful vibration then these vibes might work for you. I still recommend you stay far away from the Intro 1. It’s just awful. Get that Rain Vibe instead if you want a small, battery-powered vibe like that. I think for the price points of the Intro vibes there are similar battery-powered vibes that feel about the same and cost less. In other words, I just don’t think these vibrators are anything special.

It took me a little while to warm up to the Iroha Midori but it eventually grew on me and I thought it was a pretty nice vibe. But this vibe? I loved it from the very first time I used it. This vibe and my clit are like soul mates. The Iroha+ Tori is just perfect for me in every way possible. When Tenga gave me my choice of their new Iroha+ vibes to review, I was instantly drawn to the Tori. That pointy tip looked exactly like the kind of thing my clit would adore and I was not disappointed. Can I also just say that I love the styling of this vibe. It’s cute but yet, in an elegant way – not in that cutesy-cute, “look my vibe is a dolphin” way.

The Tori abstractly reminds me of a small bird. And if I said the Midori was like a little pet then the Tori is even more so. I can’t stop myself from picking it up and squishing it. The Iroha and Iroha+ vibes are very unique in the way they feel. They have a squish like no other vibrator I’ve felt and a silicone surface that is powdery soft. It feels just amazing against your most delicate areas.

The Tori’s vibration is concentrated quite well into that pointy tip that I lust after so much. My clit really wants and needs more focused, pin-point stimulation. I don’t respond as well to broad vibes, like wand massagers. That exquisite little tip nestles down on the right side of my clit (mine’s a righty) and it gives it the exact kind of stimulation it needs. The tip has a lot of squish but it’s firm underneath. So if you want to apply some pressure it feels wonderful and doesn’t dampen the vibration.

The Japanese just do things in such completely different ways – from the shapes of these vibes to the colors, to the delightful signature squish and their little charging display cases. Apparently, they can even perform miracles… they’ve somehow created silicone that actually seems to repel lint. Other companies just don’t make vibes like this. When you get one in your hand you understand that you have something that’s not at all like the same ol’ thing.

The vibration isn’t the rumbliest I’ve ever felt but it’s not so buzzy that my clit wants to run away screaming. The tone and intensity of the vibration work for me. It’s got some good power behind it for its size. I’m not sure it would satisfy a power queen but it’s by no means a wimpy vibe. Like, if you need the Hitachi Magic Wand to get off, this probably isn’t gonna be your thing. But that’s like comparing apples and oranges anyway.

The Tori fits in my hand in a way that feels logical. You can operate the two buttons with your thumb. There are 5 levels of steady vibration and 2 patterns (that I will never use). To my complete shock and awe, I reached orgasm twice, on level 2, the first time I used it. I think it’s all about that pointy, focused stimulation that my clit can’t get enough of.

This vibe is waterproof, which makes for easy cleaning with soap and water. I would probably only use water-based lube with this vibe, just to be safe.

The Iroha+ website says that the Tori’s tip is great for “insertable pleasure”. Yeah uhm… no. That would do absolutely nothing for me and would penetrate me less than an inch. I don’t know, maybe something got lost in translation.

I’m not sure what more I can say about the Iroha+ Tori other than… I love it! For me, it is perfect. It gives me the exact kind of stimulation I need to have orgasms with relative ease. I’ve amassed a pretty sizable collection of vibrators at this point and very few of them are ones that I want to keep going back to time and again. The We-Vibe Touch has always been one of my go-to vibes and I feel like I could rely on the Iroha+ Tori in the same way.
