Two-Cumber 1

** Sadly, Fucking Sculptures has gone out of business and their toys are no longer available **

I’ve agonized over writing this review. I coveted a Fucking Sculptures dildo for so long and when they finally agreed to send me one for review, I was ecstatic. I asked if I could review the G-Spoon because it looks like it would really work for me and from what I’ve heard from other reviewers, it stimulates in a way that I would simply adore. Unfortunately, Fucking Sculptures sends what they can, when they can for review but I understand, since they are a small artisan company. They said they’d send me the Two-Cumber and I was still thrilled to receive one of their beautiful, fuck-able works of art.

And I want to love the Two-Cumber with every fiber of my being – but, I just can’t. No matter how hard I try. It’s just not working with my body in the best way possible. I don’t think the shape and size are quite right for me. I’m pretty sure that the G-spoon’s shape would have been much more compatible with my body. So, I’m really, truly saddened by the fact that I can’t make the Two-Cumber do wonderful things for my vagina.

I have not one single complaint about craftsmanship or quality. It’s a gorgeous dildo in its own right. And I can manage to achieve some G-spot stimulation with it but it’s awkward. The Two-Cumber I received just isn’t long enough. It’s hard to hold onto and it distracts me from the task at hand.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had some great orgasms with the Two-Cumber but it’s not everything I’d hoped it would be. I think if it was a bit longer and I had more to hold onto and more length to leverage pressure against my G-spot, it would work better for me. I do enjoy the nearly total lack of friction. It takes just a bit of lube for this dildo to glide effortlessly, which is characteristic of glass dildos in general.

Two-Cumber 2

That’s the thing with these artfully crafted dildos… they will all vary a bit in shape and size. They aren’t made on a production line so of course, each one will be unique. Although, Fucking Sculptures tries to keep the dimensions as close as possible to their specified sizes.

Other reviewers who have the G-spoon gush (pun intended) over how wonderful it is for AFE Zone (or, A spot) stimulation and I listen to their praise of the dildo with a yearning, because AFE Zone stimulation is one of my favorite kinds of stimulation. I rarely achieve it with toys. About the only time I get it is when dizzyguy and I use the Liberator Wedge under my butt during sex. Then he hits the spot when he goes in deep and I LOVE it. So, to have a toy that could do that for me would be incredible.

Maybe someday there will be a good sale and I’ll have the cash to get my own wonderful G-Spoon. So come on folks, make my AFE Zone stimulating dreams come true and click through my links to buy your sex toys. Just make sure to clear your cookies first to ensure that I get the commission.

All types of lube are compatible with Fucking Sculptures’ dildos. Unlike most glass sex toys you SHOULD NOT BOIL a Fucking Sculptures dildo. Mass produced glass sex toys are usually made of borosilicate glass but Fucking Sculptures’ dildos are made of soda-lime glass. So, you can simply just clean it with soap and water or use a 10% bleach solution to sanitize it. Make sure you don’t use anything abrasive that will scratch the surface.

My Two-Cumber is the small and measures about 7” end to end and 1.6” in diameter at the thickest point. They offer the Two-Cumber in white, black, red, gold and green. It is available in three sizes and a storage pouch is included. But you know what’s really awesome? They give you a lifetime guarantee… on a glass dildo. Crazy right? But they understand that accidents do happen and if you damage your dildo they will replace it for FREE (you pay shipping)! But they’ll do this only once so, be careful. All they ask is that you send the damaged dildo back to them or email a picture showing the damage.

I am proud to finally own a Fucking Sculptures dildo, even if it doesn’t rock my world the way I wish it did. But having one makes me feel like I’ve leveled up as a sex toy reviewer. I have arrived.  I do truly regret that I can’t give the Two-Cumber a five-star review based on my personal experience. I can, however, give it a perfect rating for beauty and craftsmanship. But that’s just how the cookie crumbles… not every sex toy is going to work for every body. It wouldn’t be the first time that I wanted to love something but couldn’t. I still think owning a Fucking Sculptures dildo is absolutely worth while but just make sure you consider the size and shape carefully. It also wouldn’t hurt to read some reviews by other bloggers to help you make a decision.

*** UPDATE ***
I just wanted to add to this review that while the Two-Cumber didn’t work for me, I purchased the medium G-Spoon and I am in LOVE with it.  It’s gorgeous and gives me AFE Zone stimulation if I go deep and G-spot stim if I go shallow.  And it definitely makes me squirt.  Not sure if I’ll ever get around to writing a full review for my G-Spoon since it’s something I purchased myself.  I usually stay too busy with sponsored reviews to write reviews for things that I buy.  But I wanted to add this to let everyone know how awesome it is.

Talk about procrastinating. It’s taken me so long to get around to writing this review. I guess the problem is that the Pipedream Icicles No. 29 didn’t leave a lasting impression on me one way or the other. Often when I feel this uninspired to write, it’s because I feel that way about the toy. Add to that the fact that my vagina is fickle about texture so, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the 29’s swirly ridges.

Turns out, my vagina doesn’t care much for the texture of the No. 29. It’s not uncomfortable or anything, it just doesn’t do it for me. The texture feels pretty intense but in a way that I really don’t care for. I like nice rounded contours, subtle textures and long walks on the beach. The 29’s ridges feel more edgy, like kind of sharp but not in a painful way. It just feels irritating to me. This leads me to the realization that not all ribs are created equal because I really enjoy the Tantus Purr with its ribs but those are more subtle and feel like a massage.

No29.2

Other than the fact that my vagina disapproves of it, I think the No. 29 is a pretty good glass dildo. It feels well made and it is beautiful. It has a gentle curve and a slightly bulbous head that provides some nice G-spot stimulation. Since it is glass, I can apply the strong pressure against my G-spot that I prefer. It’s just the texture that doesn’t agree with me. I really could have gone for more girth but with the ridges, that probably would have felt overwhelming. I think if you’re a texture lover, you’ll really like this dildo. It just wasn’t for me.

Since this dildo is glass, you’ll have very little to worry about. It is hypoallergenic, nonporous and phthalates free. This means it’s easy to keep clean. You can wash it in antibacterial soap and water, use a toy cleaner or, to sanitize it you can use a 10% bleach solution. Some people boil their glass toys for a few minutes to sanitize them and that’s fine if they are made of borosilicate glass (this one is) but some small artisanal glass sex toy manufacturer’s are using soda-lime glass and those shouldn’t be boiled. About the only thing you have to be careful of with glass is chipping or cracking it if you drop it. You should probably inspect your glass sex toys for damage prior to every use.

If you’re into temperature play then you’ll enjoy this dildo, and glass dildos in general. They retain temperature quite well and you can heat this dildo up in warm water or cool it down in cold water. You have the freedom to use any kind of lubricant you like with glass. It doesn’t matter, they’re all compatible and you’ll find that you need very little to keep things slippery.

No29

The No. 29 is 8” long and 7.5” are insertable. The head is 1.4” in diameter and the shaft is 1.1”. This dildo does have a slightly flared base but at only 1.5” wide, I personally don’t think it would be safe for anal use. The 29 does not come with a storage pouch but there is a large chunk of foam that holds it securely in the box.

The Icicles No. 29 is a beautiful glass dildo that I think texture lovers will really like. It just wasn’t the right kind of texture for me. I really never do know if I’m going to like a particular texture until I try it and this time, my vagina just didn’t approve. I think it is a good solid glass dildo and would be a great buy for someone who can appreciate the sensation of its ridges.

Update: Before you consider buying Pipedream products, please take a moment to read this.

Did you know that you can find sex toys on Etsy?  That’s where I found this beautiful psychedelic handmade glass dildo. It looks like something I might have picked up at a Dead show, except I never saw sex toys for sale at the shows… but maybe there should have been. This stunning one of kind G spot dildo was lovingly handcrafted by glass artist, Matthew Healy. No two of his custom sex toys are exactly alike so, you know you have something that was made just for you. He creates dildos and butt plugs of all shapes and sizes, with just about any color combination you can imagine.

Looking over Matthew’s collection, it was difficult to choose which one I wanted to review. They are all so beautiful. But the Twisted Rainbow Curved Dildo caught my eye for its subtle G spotting curve and amazing ethereal internal rainbow swirl. I love knowing that this piece was not mass produced and I enthusiastically believe in supporting true artists like Matthew.

Matthew crafts his glass sex toys from borosilicate glass which is the same strong material that Pyrex cookware is made from. He uses an oxygen-propane torch that reaches well over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit to mold the molten glass into varied erotic forms. When I asked him to describe the process this is what he said:

I start out with 4′ x 38.1mm x 4mm tubing for my colored pieces. The tubing is then melted with a torch into smaller manageable tubes, the spot heated by the torch is stretched into a long hollow handle before being melted off of the main piece. This prep piece is then heated in a kiln to 1,165 degrees or so with the handle sticking out the doors, when heated I grab the handle and heat the tubing in a huge flame of oxygen and propane(It is hot). This tube is between 8 and 13 inches, my wrists are strong because the process requires much stamina considering it takes 20 to 45 minutes to make most pieces in front of a torch.

I use minimal tools, usually graphite tipped rod like tools to flare out the glass I have heated. The color is crushed glass with different chemicals and precious metals added to make all sorts of color, this is added to the inside of the clear tubing with special shaped spoons, I then lightly mist inside additional silver vapors for added color. After the glass is heated up I open the handle end and close the flared open end with a heated clear glass rod which becomes a second handle after it has sealed all the colors on the inside. I then heat the entire piece red hot while spinning, always spinning, especially spinning now, until I have gathered the whole piece into one massive blob slowly sucking excess air out of the open handle.

At this point I have the material required to make any shape I want. Which is a process of using heat to manipulate the mass of the object with spinning and gravity. Think of the glass as thick honey. After the piece is shaped I kiln it for the remainder of the evening, I make a couple of adult toys in the beginning of my day, then move onto less temperamental projects while the toys safely anneal in the back of the kiln for 4-5 hours at least.

My Twisted Rainbow Curved Dildo is 6 7/8 inches long with about 6 1/2 inches insertable.  The diamter of the shaft is mostly consistent and is right around 1 inch.  The head is just under 1 1/2 inches in diameter.  Keep in mind that because these are handmade, the dimensions will vary from one piece to the next.  I likhandmade glass dildoe the base on this dildo. It allows it to stand proudly, which it does on my dresser because it’s just too pretty to hide away. The base makes it easy to hold and maintain the curve in an upward position. This might just be a weird thing unique to me but sometimes, when a G spot dildo has a perfectly round base, it can start to turn inside me and miss my G spot. But when the base is an irregular shape, it’s easier to keep the curve facing my G spot. This dildo has a bulbous head that comes to an ever so subtle rounded point that gently massages my G spot. Since it’s wonderfully rigid, I can push the base toward my butt and force the head up into my G spot allowing me to achieve the pressure I need to really stimulate it.

Borosilicate glass is among the best materials for sex toys. It is nonporous, meaning there are no microscopic holes in which bacteria can breed. Because of this trait, Matthew’s glass dildos can be sanitized by boiling for a few minutes or bathing in a 10% bleach solution. I usually just use antibacterial soap and water. A toy cleaner could also be used. One word of warning, take off your rings while you soap up your glass dildos. Once when I cleaned this beautiful dildo, I forgot to take off my wedding band and I ended up putting several scratches on it. I was pretty heartbroken about it so, don’t make the same mistake I did. Always inspect your glass toys for chips or cracks before you use them. It’s really difficult to break borosilicate glass but it can be chipped if you drop it. Another great advantage of glass toys is that you can use any kind of lube you want. Silicone, water based, or oil based will all work. And due to the sleek surface of glass, you need very little lube to keep it gliding smoothly. I think this dildo is perfect for vaginal G spot stimulation but it could also be used anally because its 2 inch wide base would prevent it from slipping into the rectum.

handmade glass dildoSo if you’re looking for something truly unique that nobody else will have and you believe in supporting artists and small businesses, I encourage you to stop by Matthew’s Etsy shop. I can’t imagine anyone not finding something they love. The prices are reasonable, especially when you consider you’re getting a custom piece and if you don’t see something that’s perfect for you, talk to Matthew about what you have in mind.  And while you’re there check out his Smiley dildos. If you’re a fan of the njoy Pure Wand then you’re sure to fall in love with his glass interpretation.

glass dildo

I’ve gotten my second glass dildo from Lovehoney, the Waver G-Spot Sensual Glass Dildo.  I was pleased with my first glass dildo and it instantly made me a fan of glass sex toys. It’s nearly the perfect material since it’s nonporous and phthalates free. That means it can be disinfected by boiling for a few minutes or bathing in a 10% bleach solution and it is body safe and hypoallergenic.  Glass holds temperature well and it needs very little lube to glide effortlessly. You can use any lube you like with glass. I particularly love the unyielding rigidity of glass. This might be a turn off for those who prefer squishy dildos but there is something luscious about thrusting a dildo this smooth and solid.

Some people are wary of glass sex toys. They’re afraid it will break inside them. Most glass sex toys on the market are made of borosilicate glass, the stuff that Pyrex cookware is made of. This makes it very strong and durable. These things are solid and you’re not going to break one while masturbating. If you drop it on a hard surface you can chip or crack it so be very careful when cleaning. Always inspect your glass toys for damage before you use them. Glass sex toys are easy to scratch so never use anything abrasive to clean them and remove your rings while washing them. I learned this the hard way when I didn’t take my wedding band off and scratched up a very beautiful glass dildo. I was pretty heartbroken about it so, don’t make the same mistake I did.

The Waver is a basic glass dildo. It lacks a lot of texture or fancy design. It’s straight, through the shaft and then the head angles up slightly. It is 8” end to end. On one end is a bulb that measures 1” in diameter, then there are three undulations each measuring 1” in diameter. The bulbous head is 1 3/8” in diameter and is ever so slightly pointed at the tip but it’s not sharp or pokey. The head has a crease that runs all the way around it and I thought it might be a manufacturing defect but I checked the photo on the product page and it appears to have the same crease. I’m not sure why it’s there. It doesn’t add any sensation. The glass is a light transparent lavender and the Lovehoney heart logo is is etched on one end but it’s not something that can be felt when in use. The packaging is basic and a velvety purple storage pouch is included. I wouldn’t recommend using the Waver anally because it doesn’t have a flared base.

What I like about this dildo is everything I like about glass in general. I love how solid and sleek it is. It cleans up easily with antibacterial soap and water or toy cleaner.  It warms to my body temperature. I get a little G spot stimulation from the upturned head but not quite as much as if the entire dildo were curved. It’s not too girthy. That could be a pro or a con, depending on your preferences. I think it would really work well for someone who can’t tolerate texture of any kind. I also think the Waver could be a good choice for someone who is wanting to try glass for the first time because the price point is reasonable and its design is subtle.

Head on over to Lovehoney to buy the Waver G-Spot Sensual Glass Dildo or check out their entire selection of glass sex toys. And as always, when you shop at Lovehoney you can feel confident in your purchases because they have the best return policy around. If you’re not happy with the product, you can return it within 100 days of purchase.

fifty shades of grey glass dildo

The “Sexual Happiness People” over at Lovehoney.com were so awesome, they gave me the Fifty Shades Glass Dildo (I’m shortening the name because Fifty Shades of Grey Drive Me Crazy Glass Massage Wand is a ridiculously long name) in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is my first glass dildo and now I know why glass is such an incredible material for sex toys. I can seriously see myself getting addicted to glass toys. The sensuously sleek finish of the glass glides effortlessly with very little lube. If you self lubricate well, you might not even need any lube at all. I don’t and so I need just a small amount of silicone or water based lube and it lasts an amazingly long time on this toy. The deliciously unyielding rigidity of the glass is becoming something my body craves.

The glass holds temperature well and even at room temperature it feels cool upon insertion but quickly warms with my body heat. This makes glass dildos great for temperature play, if you like to chill your dildos in the fridge. Or you can soak the dildo in warm water just prior to use if you don’t want the shock of a cool dildo entering you. I’m lazy and don’t necessarily like to pre-plan my masturbation sessions so I just have at it, as is and even though I don’t care for the initial coolness of the glass, it’s not a big deal because it does warm up nicely inside me.

The Fifty Shades Glass Dildo is a good Goldilocks size in length and girth. The dildo measures 7 1/4” from end to end. The shaft is 1” in diameter and is adorned with 6 raised beads which rise about 1/8” high. On one end is a vaguely phallic head that is 1 3/8” in diameter and slightly tapers to a rounded point, which eases insertion. The other side ends with two bulbs (sort of a double bubble) that are each 1 3/8” in diameter. The end bulb is etched with the words “Fifty Shades of Grey” but I don’t feel the lettering when inserted. It’s nice that this dildo is double ended and can be used either way.

The 6 raised beads provide a little texture but nothing extreme. I feel them mostly when they graze past my vaginal entrance and I enjoy the sensation. The Fifty Shades Glass Dildo is slightly curved and it does a fair job of stimulating my G spot. As a newcomer to sex toys and having just recently discovered my G spot (and what kind of stimulation it likes), I find that I need a lot of pressure against it and I can’t quite get as much as I want from this dildo (it’s a leverage thing) but I do enjoy it for thrusting. If you don’t require as much hard pressure against your G spot as I do, then this dildo would probably work well for you. And if you’re not concerned at all about G spot stimulation, this is still a great glass dildo for thrusting.

The Fifty Shades Glass Dildo is made of completely uncolored, transparent glass and in its pure simplicity lies its beauty. The 6 raised beads elevate it to a level just beyond basic. It’s easy to keep clean because glass is one of the most hygienic materials for sex toys, as it’s nonporous. It’s also body safe and phthalates free. Routine cleaning can be done by simply washing it well with antibacterial soap and warm water. It can be sanitized in a number of ways including, washing in a 10% bleach solution. For more information on caring for glass see my STMSDS.

The dildo comes in fairly basic packaging that has a decent presentation. An unpadded satin storage pouch, which is a lot larger than it needs to be, is included and is printed with the words “Fifty Shades of Grey”.

I don’t know much about the Fifty Shades of Grey books other than they’ve sparked an interest in sex toys and kink for many and opening up to exploring sexuality is always a good thing, in my opinion. So, it wasn’t the connection to the books that drew me to this dildo. I wanted to review this dildo because it looked like a nice glass toy for beginners and since I am one, I can say that I think it is a good choice. It’s well crafted and moderately sized. The beads provide just enough texture to make it interesting but I don’t think it would be too much for most people. And, it’s reasonably priced. On the other hand, I don’t see any reason why this dildo wouldn’t appeal to the glass aficionado as well.

If I’ve convinced you that the Fifty Shades of Grey Drive Me Crazy Glass Massage Wand is a good buy, and I think it is, make sure you visit Lovehoney.com and give them some love for making this review possible. They offer free shipping by Priority Mail and have what has to be one of the most robust return policies around. You can return any item, for any reason, no questions asked for up to 100 days after you placed the order so, you can shop with confidence knowing that if something doesn’t work out for you… no problem. The folks at Lovehoney.com want you to be happy.
