I just started my blog in the spring of this year so, I wasn’t really sure if I should do a “best of” post. Then I thought, what the hell… I tried some things and found some I really loved so, why not make a list? There are toys that I tried that were pretty awful too but for this year, being my first, I think I’ll stick with the toys that were great. If you really want to know how I felt about a toy, just take a look at my Toy Box page.

My Favorite Vibrators of the Year:

1. We-Vibe Salsa ~ Was there any doubt on this one? Since they are discontinued and hard to come by these days, I recommend the Tango, which is reportedly just as great as the Salsa.

2. We-Vibe Touch ~ This one works great for me but the silicone dampens the vibration just a bit and it’s enough that some people don’t like it.  It has the same rumbly vibration of the Salsa/Tango and it’s easier to grip.

3. PalmPower ~ This was a late entry that I haven’t reviewed yet but it’s so incredible87165-PALMPOWER-MASSAGER I had to add it to the list. This thing rocks my world, knocks my socks off and all the rest of the euphemisms. It’s everything you wish the Hitachi was: smaller, quieter, an adjustable range of speeds, a silicone cap that can be removed and cleaned and most importantly, it has the kind of power that can stand up to the Hitachi. I love it and I think power queens need this toy.

4. Leaf Fresh+ ~ Another late entry that I’ve not reviewed yet but I love it A01569-PRP-FRESHenough to include it in the list. The highest vibration mode is pretty damn strong, especially for such a little thing and that pointed end is amazing for pin point stimulation. Between the Fresh+ and the PalmPower, I’m a believer in the PowerBullet technology.

5. Lmona-2ELO Mona 2 ~ This is far and beyond the best G-spotting vibrator I’ve tried so far. None of the others even come close.

My Favorite Dildos of the Year:

1. njoy Pure Wand ~ This G-spotting dildo has changed my life. Seriously. I’ve never had orgasms like the ones that it can give me. Yes, it makes me squirt.  My only regret is that I waited so long to get it.

comet12. Key Comet G Wand ~ This G-spotting Dildo comes close to the Pure Wand but will never surpass its awesomeness. Still, this is the dildo that taught me how to find my G -spot and what I need to do to get the most out of stimulating it.

ella3. LELO Ella ~ It doesn’t work for everyone but it’s great for me and the squirting orgasms it can produce are epic.

4. Tantus Duke ~ I was initially frightened by the Duke. It was the largest girth I’d taken on up to that point. I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it but once I got loosened up and began thrusting with this thing, it was pretty great. It totally filled me up and that massive head mugged my G-spot, in a good way.

5. Exotic-Erotics Hippocampus ~ Easily one of the most unusual dildos I’ve added to my collection. But come on, you know it’s totally cool to diddle yourself with a dildo shaped like the penis of a mythical creature. The craftsmanship is superb, it fills me up and has plenty of textural stimulation.

My Favorite Anal Toys of the Year:

29185-11. Doc Johnson Mood Naughty Medium Buttplug ~ Yeah, I know… it’s DJ but it truly is the most comfortable plug I’ve tried so far. Everything about it is perfect. I am not ashamed to admit my love for it.

neo-all

2. Tantus Neo ~ A very comfortable buttplug. Much better than others I had tried.

My Favorite Miscellaneous Product of the Year:

wedge-ramp-blue1. The Liberator Wedge Ramp Combo ~ We don’t get a lot of use from the Ramp but that Wedge has changed our sex life.

My Favorite Companies of the Year:

Tantus

They’re a great company, period.  They truly care about producing top quality, body safe sex toys.  Their customer service is impeccable and as a reviewer/affiliate I have to say, they are one of the best companies to work with.

SheVibe

Awesome sex toy retailer run by some of the friendliest peeps in the biz.  Shipping is incredibly fast and they have a great selection of body safe sex toys.  Plus, their website is a treat for the eyes.  Seriously, go check it out…NOW!

Good Vibrations

Good Vibrations has been around the block a time or two.  They’ve been a trusted source for pleasure products for over three decades.  So, they really know how to provide great customer service.  They couldn’t have been around as long as they have if they didn’t.  As a reviewer/affiliate I have to say that their new affiliate manager is awesome and the biggest reason that Good Vibrations has become one of my faves.

Sensual-Intelligence

Sensual-Intelligence is a brand new, small retailer run by two awesome sex positive gals.  It’s their commitment to selling only body safe, environmentally sound products that makes them one of my faves.

So, those are my picks of the products and companies I love. There are products that were total failures and by reading my blog, it’s pretty easy to spot them. Again, check out my Toy Box page. I think next year, I’ll have enough blogging under my belt to throw the shitty toys under the bus.

Here’s to hoping I have continued blogging/reviewing success. There are so many more products I’d love to get my hands on but a gal can only do so much sex toy testing so, I’ve had to learn to pace myself. I hope you all continue to read what I write. It’s been a pleasure.

  1. You got some great toys up there as well. Glad you did post your favorites. Maybe I will do one too LOL.

  2. I wish someone would have sent me a Leaf+ vibe! LOL Great picks.

    • All I did was contact them through the Swan Vibes website.

      • Swan told me I’ve reviewed too many Jopen’s. Basically.

          • Their reply.

“Thank you for contacting us! Your site is very in depth and well put together. As I was checking out your reviews, I saw that you’ve reviewed many Vanity by Jopen products already. Since we also manufacture Vanity by Jopen as well as Swan, these products are essentially the same aside from their colours. Vanity is mainly sold in North America, and Swan is available to the rest of the world. We would just be essentially sending you the same products. Thank you for thinking of us though, we do appreciate what you do for the industry!”

          • Did you tell them that you were interested in Leaf? Plus they have a couple other brands under BMS Factory – the one who makes the PalmPower.

          • Oh yes, I did. No reply. So much for in depth and well put together, huh?

        • This is just craziness it is not like you got them thru them personally you got them from some where else. I can’t believe it.

          • I see their point on the Jopens because they are pretty much exactly the same as the Swan vibes so, it wouldn’t make much sense to review duplicates.
But I don’t understand why they weren’t receptive to working with her on Leaf products.

          • I agree Dizzy the Leaf products are different and they should work with her on those. I hope she contacts them again to see.

  3. I knew the Mona 2 would be on your list 🙂 I’m really looking forward to your review of the Palm Power, it sounds great so far. Thanks for reminding me to get a Pure Wand *laughs*
And what is up with the Hippocampus?! Everyone loves it! I must get one!

  4. We definitely have the same taste with vibes but our G-spots disagree

    • I think I remember you saying before that a lot of the G-spot toys aren’t good for you. Is it like a pubic bone issue? I’ve heard other women have that problem with curved toys too.

  5. Great list-many are on my wishlist. I’ve been wanting a Pure Wand and a Key Comet wand for a while now-everyone seems to love them. I don’t own any Leaf toys either, I’m going to check out the Fresh.
